Interrupted

Lilly's pov:

"Ahh Rose" I hugged her tightly.
"It's great to see you Lillian. How long has it been? 3 months?" It was the first time seeing one of my friends after my whole kidnapping thing. We met for lunch at this new place in town.

"So have you been?" I asked.
"I just came back from my vacation with my boyfriend"
"Wait you got a boyfriend?" I interrupted
"Yes, his name Carlo" I looked at her like I've seen a ghost "Our friend Carlo?"
"Yes"
"Omg"
"I know, after we went to dinner after our graduation I was a bit drunk and he took care of me. We texted and met and from one thing came the other."
"I'm so happy for you guys. I didn't see it coming but omg." I stood up and hugged her.

Our lunch came. "Being in love feels so good. Your favorite moments you share with your favorite person. You can't keep your hands off each other and the sex. Let me tell you, I didn't know my body was capable of that. I just love being with him, he brings the best out of me."

I knew I was young but I craved the feeling of someone loving me, touching me, making me happy. I think about it everyday. I just wanted to experience that. I wanted to experience everything Rose just said.

"Enough about me, how are you?" Well how was I going to tell her what happened the past 3 months. It's been crazy.

"Wow. Omg" Rose said with tears in her eyes. I told her everything. "Come here" she pulled me into a hug. "I'm okay," I said.
"Lillian, I have known you longer than today. You hide your feelings to protect others. No one would be okay after what you've been through."

A tear split from my eyes. "Oh sweety" Rose whipped my tears.

After a while we both recovered from our tears. "It was great seeing you," Rose said.
"Tell me when you get pregnant" I jokingly said.

"Goodnight bambi" I kissed Clara on the forehead. I just read her a story about an unicorn. She told me she wanted to be one.

I walked to my room and put some comfortable clothes on.

I turned the water on and put the plates in the sink. I needed to clean up the mess Clara and I made from making cupcakes today. I bet next time she would want to make something with unicorns.

I was finally done. Yay.

Music got in my ears as I dried my hands. I turned around and jumped when I saw Enzo standing in front of me. "You scared me"

"Dance with me" he extended his hand. I debated taking it.

My body gave in. He took my hand and guided me towards a place where we had room. His touch was addicting.

"I thought you didn't dance?"
"For you id make an exception" as soon as those words left his mouth butterflies flew in my stomach.

We slowly danced, our eyes hooked and our fingers collided. I laid my head on his chest as his hands went on my waist. Our body's moving to the music. He held me so tightly, as if he never wanted to let go.

"You're a good dancer" I smiled.
"One of my many talents" he twirled me around and pushed our bodies even closer.

I wish we could stay like this forever. Just dancing.

 I buried my face in his chest as he led us through the music, there was nothing going on, just us dancing forgetting both our problems and worries. He mumbled something that made me laugh and I snuggled closer to him.

"Lilly" I looked up to be met with the most beautiful shade of blue possible. I think I have a new favorite color. I gave a smile.
"I'm sorry"
him saying that it felt like a stone got lifted off my shoulders.

"For what?" I wanted him to say it.
"I want you, all of you."
I think there was a whole butterfly garden going on in my stomach.
"But"
there it was, the word nobody wanted to hear. "I can't, my body won't let me. I just cant"

"Yes you can" I slowly raised my head. Enzo hugged me closer. I leaned in to kiss him, he also lent in. Our lips are so close. We both wanted it.

"Lorenzo we need- shit" a guy interrupted us. Me and Enzo immediately stepped back, out of our trace. My body is already lining up for his touch.

Enzo cleared his throat
"What do you need me for Noah?" Enzo asked with a frustration in his voice.
"We found her," Noah replied quickly. I saw Enzo's body freeze. I stared at Noah, not knowing what was going on.

Who did they find and why did Enzo react like that?

"Fuck" Enzo growled and walked away. Almost running. I just stood there with Noah.
"Sorry for um...interrupting" Noah apologized. "Its fine" I muttered "I also need to go, see you later" he awkwardly said
"bye Noah"

I just stood alone in the kitchen, letting out a sigh. I was upset. It was like the universe didn't want us to be together.
