Currently, I patiently waited with Namjoon at a cafe. Namjoon helped me arrange a deal with one of the companies he knew for Eunwoo's comapany. Eunwoo's parents and he would be here soon too.

The cafe door opened a handsome man walked in. He had board shoulders, plump lips and a confident aura. Namjoon greeted him by shaking his hand.

"Y/n, this is one of my friends, Kim Seokjin" Namjoon spoke, "Jin, this is Park Y/n"

"Hello Y/n, pleasure to meet you" Jin spoke, shaking my hand

"Pleasure to meet you too" I spoke with wide eyes as he was enthralling

The cafe door opened again and Eunwoo walked in with his parents. I motioned them to our table for the meet. Seokjin greeted them warmly.

"So I've brought you both here to collaborate companies. Mr.Cha, Seokjin's Company is really amazing and I've researched thoroughly. He will not disappoint you" I spoke

"I see, what about your dad's company then?" Mr.Cha spoke

I sighed and finally decided it was time to spill. I started by explaining how I was treated ever since my mother passed away. I slowly opened their eyes to my dad's real personality and behavior.

"He's no good. He's been abusive, verbally and physically. He only cares about money, work and power. He only wants our marriage to happen to increase his reputation. This is why I want to destroy him. I'm going for emancipation. You'll be better off working with Seokjin's company than his" I spoke

"Wow....I don't know what to say. I never knew he was that kind of man" Mr.Cha spoke

"I'm so sorry Y/n. That we failed to recognize how our niece was being abused all this time. We really care for you like our own daughter. If this is going to help you, we're ready to break the collab and this marriage" Mrs.Cha spoke

"We have a deal Mr.Kim then. Let's join companies" Mr.Cha spoke

"It'd be my pleasure" Jin spoke, shaking his hand

"I'm proud of you Y/n. For breaking this marriage and also going for emancipation is a big step. I'll always be here for you as a brother" Eunwoo smiled

"Thank you Eunwoo. I wish you good luck to get the girl of your dreams" I smiled back

"You too, marry someone who'll love you more than anyone. You deserve love after your dad treated you like this....good luck" Eunwoo spoke

Seokjin and Mr.Cha sealed the deal by signing a contract for collaboration. Mr.Cha texted his company to break off the collaboration with our company and release a public statement that Eunwoo and my marriage was cancelled.

"Thank you so much everyone for helping me. I need to go to the court now to apply for emancipation" I spoke

"Of course anytime dear, we'll meet you there after a few to support you. After all, we're still family" Mrs.Cha spoke

"Good luck Y/n" Namjoon exclaimed

"Yes, I hope you get what you want" Jin spoke

I smiled and left the cafe. I quickly took a cab to the court. Lisa and Jackson were already present to be there for me through all this. I entered the court and had a chat with the people there.

Finally, I filed a lawsuit against my dad and also filed for emancipation. As I held the pen to sign the final document, my hand shook. I was going to be free from all this. From the reason my childhood was ruined.
