"Yeah, me too! The song sounded amazing, though," Felix complimented. "Although the lyrics were quite sad."

Chan softly laughed. "I tend to write a lot of sad songs. Changbin and Jisung always tease me about it."

"It's your own unique style," Felix remarked, a small smile forming on his lips as he turned to face Chan. "I really like it, though."

Chan had never received such appreciation for his music from someone other than Jisung and Changbin. Naturally, Felix's compliments meant the world to him.

"Really?" Chan asked, his voice filled with shy delight.

"Yes, I genuinely like it," Felix affirmed. "Your voice suits it perfectly."

"Thank you," Chan said, a bashful smile playing on his lips. "Would you... maybe... be interested in listening to more of my music in the future once this is all over?"

"After all of this is over?" Felix questioned.

"Yes, when everything is over and we return to our regular lives," Chan clarified.

"Absolutely!" Felix exclaimed, elated. "I'd love to listen to your music. Does that mean I can visit your studio?"

"Haha, sure, if you'd like," Chan laughed. "It's not the fanciest place, though."

"I don't mind," Felix replied. "Studios are always cool."

"I suppose they are," Chan chuckled, unable to tear his gaze away from the person before him. It was then that he noticed Felix's freckles, scattered across his cheeks, nose, and even reaching his ears.

Felix was truly beautiful.

As Chan continued to gaze at Felix, he couldn't help but feel a warmth spreading through his chest. The dim lighting accentuated Felix's features, casting a soft glow on his face. Chan found himself captivated by the way Felix's eyes sparkled, reflecting a mixture of curiosity and genuine interest.

"You have freckles," Chan blurted out, caught up in his admiration for Felix's unique beauty.

Felix's cheeks flushed slightly, and he chuckled softly. "Yeah, I've always had them. Some people find them strange, but I've learned to love them."

Chan smiled, his heart fluttering. "They're not strange at all. In fact, they add to your charm. They suit you."

"Thank you," Felix smiled.

Felix's eyes met Chan's, and there was a moment of connection that lingered in the air. Time seemed to slow down as they shared a silent understanding, their unspoken words echoing in the space between them.

As they sat in the comfort of the dimly lit kitchen, sipping their warm milk, Chan couldn't help but feel a sense of serenity wash over him. The exhaustion that had weighed him down earlier seemed to dissipate, replaced by a newfound energy fueled by Felix's presence.

"That glass of milk is making me feel drowsy," Felix spoke up. "I think I'll head back to bed."

"Yeah, sure, go ahead," Chan quickly responded. "You can leave your glass here. I'll wash it up."

"Are you sure?" Felix asked, hesitating slightly.

"Of course, go get some sleep," Chan reassured him. "We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow."

"Okay, good night, hyung," Felix said, offering a warm smile before heading off to his room. Chan watched as Felix disappeared down the hallway, his heart fluttering with a newfound warmth.

Left alone in the kitchen, Chan sighed softly and glanced at the two empty glasses of milk. The encounter with Felix had been unexpected but surprisingly pleasant. It felt good to connect with someone on a deeper level, to share his passion for music.

With a gentle smile on his face, Chan picked up the glasses and began washing them in the sink. As he did, his thoughts drifted to the future—when their rigorous training would be over, and they would return to their regular lives.

He envisioned sharing his music with Felix, playing his heartfelt melodies in the comfort of his small studio. The image brought a surge of excitement and anticipation. He hoped that Felix would enjoy his music just as much as he did.

As Chan carefully dried the glasses, he couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of inspiration. Felix's presence had ignited a spark within him, reminding him of the power of music and the joy it could bring to others.

As he finished cleaning the glasses, he made a silent promise to himself—to keep creating music, to keep sharing his passion, and to cherish the genuine connections he had forged along the way.

With a contented sigh, Chan switched off the kitchen lights and made his way to his own room, feeling a sense of peace settling over him. The promise of a brighter future, fueled by friendship and music, filled his heart with hope.

As he lay in bed, Chan closed his eyes, his mind filled with melodies and lyrics waiting to be brought to life.

With that comforting thought, Chan drifted off to sleep, eager to embrace the new day that awaited them, where dreams would be chased and music would fill the air, carrying their voices and stories to anyone willing to listen.
