Kaede's mouth laid wide open throughout those ten minutes as Myunghee narrated her day to her. She included everything, right from what happened with Minghao the last night to her first kiss with Jeonghan.

But Kaede could only focus on that one thing.

"You kissed him!?" She asked her again with the same level of excitement, followed by, "How was the kiss?"

All this happened so fast that Myunghee had no time to believe if all this was true. But thank God the existence of Kaede made her come in terms with the reality. It was actually happening. Her and Jeonghan, were actually happening.

"Soft." She smiled, softly. The kiss felt so good. His lips on her felt so right. The kiss at that  moment, was so right.

"Look at you! I am so happy right now Myunghee," Kaede hugged her tightly. "I am here. Even if Seungkwan or Minghao doesn't return, I'll be here."

Kaede cupped her face and held it. Her hands were warm reflecting the condition of Myunghee's heart. "I know Kaede."

"I don't know if I'll be able to replace them completely or not, but Kaede will always be a different part for you." She showed her a thumbs up and smiled cheekily.

"Yes, missy. Got it!"

A few days had passed since that unforgettable kiss between Jeonghan and Myunghee, and everything seemed to be going well between them. They cherished their time together, enjoying each other's company and sharing sweet moments. However, amidst her happiness with Jeonghan, there had been notable changes.

Seungkwan and Minghao, once inseparable from Myunghee, now distanced themselves completely. In the classroom, they occupied the first benches instead of their usual third last seats. Myunghee couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness as she witnessed their newfound detachment.

Determined to bridge the gap, she approached them one day, hoping to sit with them as they used to. But as she neared, Seungkwan abruptly stood up and moved towards the back of the classroom, leaving no room for doubt—it was a clear indication that he didn't want to be anywhere near her.

Minghao's gaze, filled with a mix of pity and a hint of loathing, remained constant. But Myunghee couldn't shake off the feeling that it wasn't entirely directed at her. It seemed as though Minghao's resentment was merely a reflection of Seungkwan's animosity. The realization left her utterly sad. She cherished their friendship and yearned for things to go back to how they used to be. Did she ruin it all? She wondered, questioning herself and her actions. She couldn't comprehend why Seungkwan was so reluctant to give Jeonghan a chance, nor why their once unbreakable bond had become strained.

As these thoughts weighed heavily on her mind, she couldn't help but revisit the fact that Jeonghan hadn't come clean about the rumors that swirled around him. He hadn't explained anything to her yet, leaving her in a state of confusion and uncertainty. She longed for transparency, for him to open up and share the truth with her.

Despite the frustration that thoughts of Seungkwan and Minghao had brought upon Myunghee, she found solace in the calming presence of Jeonghan. Just as she stepped out of her final lecture of the day, her mind clouded with worries, she heard his familiar voice calling her.

"Hey Butterscotch!" Jeonghan's voice rang out, instantly drawing her attention. It seemed he had her schedule memorized, even when she herself seemed to have forgotten it sometimes. "Done with your lectures?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with warmth.
