Tabitha pressed her back against the cold stone pillar, straining to listen to the conversation going on between Emperor Belos and the shadowy creature Emperor Belos called 'Aeonia', as the scarlet light around her flickered, casting eerie shadows on the walls. The air felt heavy, thick with tension and power. Tabitha couldn't help but feel like she was intruding on something important, something that she wasn't supposed to hear.

"You have kept me waiting long enough, Belos", Aeonia hissed, her voice sending a shiver down Tabitha's spine. "I am growing tired of your games."

Belos merely chuckled in response. "Patience, my dear Aeonia", his response was calm and collected, as if he had been expecting this confrontation. "The Queens Shard will soon be in my hands, and with that, we can finally give you your body back."

Tabitha shivered as she heard the words. She read about the Queens Shard. It was a powerful magical artifact, and part of the Queen of Dragons. It was said to have the power of a hundred full blooded dragons in it, and it supposedly had the ability to revieve any being once. Somehow, the thought of Belos having this Item made her feel uneasy.

She couldn't help but question herself now that she was eavesdropping on Belos. Was she even loyal to him anymore? This wasn't something someone loyal would do right?… By the Titan! What was she even thinking? Of course she was still loyal! She had always believed in Belos' vision for the world. That the boiling isles needed Order and that wild Magic should be eradicated. He had been the one to Show her the way, to give her purpose. She couldn't turn her Back on him now….But…was that really what she believed?

Flayre had recently told her - no urged fits better - to question Belos and herself. She had planted seeds of doubt in Tabitha's Heart, and she couldn't destroy them. They got deep into her Heart and began to sprout their thorny vines, causing her to feel a surge of conflicting emotions. Part of her wanted to do everything in her power to help Belos obtain the Queens Shard, to prove her loyalty and to finally be rid of her doubts. But another part of her, a part that was growing stronger by the day, whispered that maybe it was time for her to choose a different path.

Her thoughts were interrupted as Belos turned to look directly at her, his eyes locking onto hers. For a moment, she felt a surge of panic, wondering why she moved her head out of her hiding. But then he smiled, and she realized that he was merely playing his manipulative game, as always.

"Tabitha", he said smoothly. "How long have you been standing there?"

Tabitha swallowed hard, her mouth suddenly feeling dry. "Not Long, Belos," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. She felt uneasy. Aeonia's shadowy form twitched and flickered, and Tabitha could feel non-existent eyes watching her every move. It was as if the creature was looking right through her. The only thing granting her comfort was the warmth Flayre sent through her body.

Belos continued to smile, his eyes never leaving hers. "Good," he said. "I have a job for you, Tabitha. I need you to Go to the knee and help retrieve the Queens Shard."

Tabitha's heart skipped a Beat..But sadly not in the good way. She suddenly felt the urge to Turn around. To run and never come back. But that's not what she did. She just stood her ground, clenched her fists - her gloves were screaming unter her grip - and looked at Belos.
"Why me? Why not ask Hunter?" She tried to make her voice sound more confident than she was.
