Part 2 of the vampire oneshot!!?? 😱😱
☆Genre: Fluff + (teeny bit of angst)
Luke was playing random games he had found on his laptop just to fill his boredom. He was currently home alone and he had nothing better to do, he thought about summoning Zander again, though then he realized that the only reason Zander created the mirror summoning procedure was in case of any emergencies if he couldn't travel to the human world at that moment. And it was probably best not to bother him right now, it's nighttime so he must be out somewhere since it's the only time he can really go out.
He shut his laptop, he was unable to concentrate on any of the video games he was playing, due to his concentration always falling onto the thought of Zander. He pushed the laptop aside and pulled out a sketchbook from his drawer, he took a pencil and decided to just sketch his little interaction today with his vampire friend. He drew the exact same scene, Zander being half way out of the mirror and looking around. He also drew some other smaller up close sketches of Zander's eyes, fangs, hands and etc. All of a sudden, he heard a faint knock on his window. He thought that it could probably be a tree branch hitting the window due to the wind so he ignored it.
There was another knock, this time louder. Luke finally decided to get up and check it out, he pulled his curtains aside and almost fell back at the sight. He recognized those glowing lavender eyes that pierced right through his soul. It was Zander he was sitting on the ledge of the window, assumingly waiting to be let in. Luke quickly opened the window and let the vampire in. "Couldn't you knock harder? You almost broke my window." Luke joked. "Not my fault you didn't hear me the first time." Zander replied as he sat down on Luke's bed. He looked around and observed the room, "You have a really nice room." He complimented. "Thanks." Luke responded sitting down next to him.
"It's been so long since you've been here in your physical form, hasn't it?" Luke asked attempting to fill the silence. "Mhm, I took a walk around the place just a few hours before visiting you. I guess I was right, human blood can taste quite sweet sometimes." Zander responded with a sly smile. "Oh..! So you did suck someone's blood!" Luke stated in a confused yet surprised tone. "Duh, how else do you think I'll survive?" Zander remarked in a playful sassy tone. They both chuckled. "Oh by the way, I remember you told me your birthday is in October right? How old are you turning this year?" Luke asked quite intrigued. "120!" Zander proudly answered. "120!? You don't look a day over 18!?" Luke exclaimed quite shocked. Luke himself already turned 19 this year, finding out that his vampire friend was turning 120 this year was just...mind-blowing. He's literally 101 years older than him. "Jeez, how long have you been roaming this earth..." Luke quietly asked under his breath. Zander laughed, "No you moron, vampire years are counted much differently than human years. In human years I'm turning 20 this year." Zander explained. "My aunt actually has lived for at least a thousand years, but in human years she's currently 1056 years old." The purpled haired vampire explained. "Woah...that's actually fascinating. I could never imagine being alive for that long." Luke replied. "Well, as long as I don't get thrown in a coffin for a few years or get a stake to the heart then maybe I'll live that long too."
"But anyways, aside from that. We were shortly interrupted earlier today when you summoned me. Why'd you summon me? Was there a problem?" The vampire asked gazing into Luke's eyes. "Well uh...there wasn't really a problem I just...well." he hesitated, his face was red and he scratched the back of his neck. "I missed you...and I wanted to speak to you again." He continued. Zander could tell he was being honest, and he appreciated that. He smiled softly. "I missed you too. However I got you something." Zander responded as he lifted his hand up slightly and summoned a small red box, big enough to fit in the palm of his hand. "What's that?" Luke asked with curiosity. "Go ahead and open it, it's for you." Zander smiled as he handed the small box to Luke. The auburn haired boy took the box into his hand and observed it. He gently opened the lid and untied the orange bow on top of it making sure he didn't damage the rest of the box. It was a necklace.
It wasn't just your ordinary necklace, this one had a pendant to it. In the shape of a star, once you opened it you could see the initial 'L' on one side and the initial 'Z' on the other side. Luke smiled brightly at the object. "I can't thank you enough, I really love this. It's so adorable." Luke thanked with admiration. Zander couldn't help but smile back. "I'm glad you like it, I felt bad about leaving you like that for so long so I got you something to make up for it." Zander admitted shamefully, averting his gaze to the ground. "You're still down because of that? It's alright I already told you. I understand how busy it can get there in the other dimension." Luke said as he averted his gaze to the window in front of him. Suddenly he felt a kiss on the cheek, "You're a sweetheart." Zander replied, his cheeks a tinted red. "I'll see you again tomorrow, sleep well now."
Zander got up and started making his way towards the window, suddenly he was stopped by Luke holding his arm. "Hm?" Zander turned around. "Can you...stay with me for tonight? My parents aren't coming home until around midnight tomorrow." Luke asked slightly embarrassed. "Alright, I guess I can do that." Zander responded sitting back down on the bed next to Luke who already laid down again. "Can you tell me any interesting stories from your dimension?" Luke asked as he looked up at the vampire next to him, his eyes were slightly glowing due to the dark atmosphere of the room. He chuckled and simply nodded. He started explaining random stories from his childhood and softly brushed through Luke's hair with his hand. Luke eventually fell asleep, Zander couldn't help but smile at the sight. He laid down next to Luke and pulled him closer in a hug, he eventually also drifted off to sleep.
