"we're ready to go mr davenport." chase said. we walked into the great room with our equipment in hand. "we'll check in once we reach delta point." i nodded my head at chase agreeing.

"no! uh, i-i mean, missions off." davenport told us.

"what?" i said confused. if confusion was a person that'd be me because i was really confused.

"but you said it was urgent?" adam said. adam doesn't normally listen so it must've been important.

"yeah. you did." i recalled remembering him saying that.

"did i say 'urgent'?" we shook our heads yes. "i th-think i said 'urge....ing.'" davenport told us. "i was like i was urging you not to go on the mission."

"why?" me and bree asked at the same time.

"because i'm sending an automated rover that can shut down the collider via remote. as soon as i build it." davenport said as he coughed a little.

"an automated rover?" chase laughed. "you might as well send a handbag on a skateboard." chase said making me laugh slightly.

"the three of us can handle-" i started but mr davenport cut me off.

"no!!! i said no, and i mean it! my decision is final now just...everybody go get ready for school." davenport said as he calmed his voice down a little.

we then walked off as chase put his arm around my waist for comfort.

we walked in after school to see davenport still working on the rover. "aha! so it's still not mission ready." chase confronted him as he snaked a arm around my waist.

"why won't you just let us go?" i asked him out of pure confusion.

"no, no, that won't be necessary." davenport said as he tried to put the rover together. "i just need to buy a few things...from NASA. they're having a sale. everything's a million off. i'll be gone for a couple of houses. leo, your in charge." davenport said.

"you got it Big D." both kris said looking at him. "future leo." davenport said as he left.

"aw, coke on!" leo said. he sounded hurt that he wasn't in charge.

"he thinks this missions too big for us." adam looked at us. "it's not he thinks it's too big—" leo said as he was about to say something.

"leo, we promised." future leo reminded himself as i looked at leo.

"leo. just spit it out." i told him as i put my hands on his shoulders.

"i guess davenport just lost confidence in us." bree shrugged her shoulders as i looked back at her in shock. why would she think that? "or he lost confidence in you two." chase motioned to adam and bree.

"what is that supposed to mean?" bree asked him turning to face him.

"oh, boy." i whispered.

"yeah, i'm the one always carrying you two. you're the weak links!" adam exclaimed as they all started fighting.

"guys! guys! guys!" leo said grabbing their attention. "enough! look at what your doing to cadence. you know she doesn't like yelling." leo said as future leo nodded his head in agreement. i had tears rolling down my face as chase realized and came up and held me tightly. "future me came here to warn davenport not to let you go on the mission because you all don't make it back." leo said as future leo put his hands up.

"god! i never listen to myself!" future leo exclaimed.

"don't come back?" adam asked quietly.

"wow. i guess this means we're...not invincible." bree said.
