Duryodhan and Karna heard Krishna dash past them, his aura being grave in anger.

Both gave a confused look to each other before tagging behind Krishna, only to find the spectacle that their new guest had created.

" EVI LEAVE HIM RIGHT NOW!" Krishna ordered as Dussashan jumped out of his skin at the sudden interference. He rushed to his brother and pleaded to him with his eyes to somehow stop Evi.

Evi cancelled out every ruckus that was going on around her as she slowly increased her grip on the Brahmin's skull, relishing every whimper that could spill out of his broken mouth.

Krishna stamped closer to Evi to stop her, just when Karna released an arrow. It broke the tree's bark, making Evi lose balance and letting go of the Brahmin. The Brahmin fell backwards, his body bereft of any energy and his eyes dulling out slowly.

Before Evi could regain her balance Krishna gripped her arm and turned her towards him.

" HAVE YOU LOST YOUR DAMN MIND?" Krishna screamed. None of the men present there had seen him that angry before.

Evi whipped her head towards Krishna and blinked a few times to comprehend what he was saying.

" You're blaming me?" Evi's voice croaked as she atleast expected him to understand what was going on.

" YOU ALMOST KILLED HIM" Krishna was still fuming.

" AND?" Evi jerked her hand out from Krishna's grip. " WHERE WAS THIS ANGER WHEN MY PEOPLE WERE GETTING KILLED HUH?" Evi growled. " OR DO YOU ONLY CARE WHEN ITS BRAHMINS WHO GET HURT?"

Krishna's eyes became bloodshot in a second. The sky darkened as wind started to blow intensely, as if to calm down his rage.

" FIRST THE DUMBASS PANDAVAS, NOW THIS STUPID BRAHMIN.... DO YOU ONLY CARE WHEN ITS BENEFICIAL FOR YOU?" Tears sprung out of her eyes as she could no longer keep her thoughts hidden. Why was it that Krishna was never there when humanity needed him the most? Where were all the Gods, as a matter of fact, when evil was slowly subjugating the good? " ANSWER ME!! WHAT GOOD ARE YOU IF YOU CANNOT EVEN ACT LIKE A GOD-"

Evi couldn't even complete her sentence just when a harsh slap made her collapse onto the grass.

The men gasped at the sudden action, as Krishna too looked at his hand that had just hit a person.

Bewildered, that his emotions got the best of him, he tried to approach and help Evi get up, but to no one's shock, she slapped his hand away.

" You..." Evi grumbled, " You disgust me Krishna"

Krishna gulped as he knew, he had gone too far. He didn't have any right to hit her, the person who was already sacrificing much of her sanity to be with him.

Evi stood up and started walking the opposite way from the camp, shooting a last glare to her victim. A faint feeling of guilt washed over her, but she shook it off.

As Evi walked away, the three spectators watched Krishna clench and unclench his palm that had just committed assault on a woman. They knew, Evi wouldn't have stopped otherwise, but didn't expect Vasudev to be so crude. There was something, about the new lady that made him vulnerable, and the oldest Kaurava grinned as he now had a hint of what Vasudev's weakness might be.

" Yuvraj Duryodhan" Krishna addressed him just as he was cooking up ways to create trouble. " Can you please go and fetch her quickly? We will be departing soon. Angraj Karna, please help me heal this Brahmin"

The trio agreed as the Kauravas went behind Evi to convince her.

Dussashan was worried as he knew he was partly at fault. If he had not started the fight, Evi wouldn't have to get involved. This was the second time Evi had been endangered because of him, and he didn't like the way he was slowly feeling indepted to her.
