Wednesdays POV:
I was outside on the balcony waiting for the fireworks while Enid was out with Ajax and she said along the line of "I hope Ajax gonna be my new years kiss" I felt a tug on my chest remembering she said that, thing called it 'jealousy' but I just told him he is insane.
A few minutes past and Enid walks outside to the balcony where I was "aren't you supposed to be out with Ajax?" I didn't look at her and was still looking forward "yeah...I saw him kissing another girl...he said he just fell out of love for me..." I didn't know why but I felt sympathy for Enid then she joins me on the railing so we are both leaning on it waiting for the fireworks "just 2 minutes then it's 2024...it's been a long year" I just nod "you alright?" I look to her and she just nods, I didn't know what to say because she just caught her boyfriend cheating
"just sad I don't have a new years kiss, you know" suddenly we hear people shouting 1 minute left, then I do it I take a deep breath and sigh "Enid..." she looks at me
"your the sun to my dark soul...and I've loved you since the hug and I want to be your new years kiss please"
I hear people shouting 15 seconds left
"Wednesday...I love you too..." I look at her and she gently grabs my chin and we hear 10...9...8 the gap between our kiss goes smaller and smaller each second until the fireworks went off and our lips touched...
"HAPPY NEW YEARSSSS!"
everyone started shouting happy new years while me and Enid were still kissing "I love you enid Sinclair" she just smiles and replies "I love you Wednesday Addams" we kiss again and that was the best day of my life...
It's when I kissed the Enid Sinclair, the sun to my dark soul...
