137.Pranpriya is in danger and she will die!

"It means, he is not unconscious now. He is pretending" Lisa realized. "The injection I stuck on his neck to protect myself is not enough to make him unconscious if he is this restraint to everything" she told.

"He didn't talk or make any sound even when he was inflicted by pain. He might-" Jungkook is about to finish his sentence but Lisa figured it out what Jungkook is thinking.

Even she is on same page as him.

Lisa jolted up from her seat and hastily sprinted and exited the room.

"Increase the dosage Now!!!" she shouted her order,  but it was already late.

"Has he bitten his own tongue??" Jungkook who just followed her asked.

One of the bodyguard went inside chamber and took away the black cloth covering Erick's face before he forcefully opened his mouth. He has indeed bitten his tongue not once but twice.

"Take him to the emergency section asap. I want him alive no matter what" Jungkook sternly ordered.

His men nodded their boss vigorously and swiftly escorted him while others went to fetch council's medical team.

"We are foolish. We shouldn't have underestimated him just because he was a normal manager" Lisa said in regret.

Jungkook sighed and hugged her sideways. "We are not foolish love. We just didn't expect him to be someone this capable and mysterious." he comforted her with his words.

It is true. Erick is a person with simple background and clean past. So no one thought that he is trained to resist the powerful serums and torture.

They just thought that he has a little role in Pranpriya's down fall and murder mystery. They expected him to be someone who would have done this for money…

But it seems like they are utterly wrong.

No one can do it until unless they are trained for years. It is too evident that he is no normal person they thought as.

"Kook, do you think Erick is intentionally sent as Pranpriya's manager so he can keep an eye on her" Lisa asked.

"Might be. It can be other way around too….Lali. He might be protecting Pranpriya and when he realized that he failed to protect her from the murder attempt, he would have hidden himself from his boss or whoever it was"

"So, when he found out that she is alive, he was horrified and decided to run away" Jungkook guessed.

"But why should he be horrified and meet Sehun? But we are suspecting that Sehun and his parents are the one who helped the murderers" Lisa asked in return.

But who knows what the true scenario is…

"Don't know love. I will have my people investigate on it all right. We will find out soon" Jungkook comforted her.

"I wish he wakes up soon" Lisa muttered.

"Doctors are trying their level best Lali. Pranpriya's problems are your problems now…. I won't let them hurt you." Jungkook said as he clenched his fists.

He is worried about her!!

Lisa who saw this hugged him tightly and buried her face in his chest. Her heart is  aching for him right now and she couldn't help but feel extremely guilty for that.

All these difficulties are one or the other way caused by her and she couldn't see him like this at all.

Her eyes felt hot with tears but she composed herself. Promising herself that she should grow stronger and determined,  she vowed not to let all these burden Jungkook.

But before this, she must confess everything to him…..

She should not hide anything from him and do the same mistake she did once.

"Kook, I have something important to tell you. Something shocking and mysterious" she told after some minutes of silence.

They are currently using his room as they waited for doctors to give an update on Erick's condition.

"Didn't you ask Jennie to organize a meeting after we return back? Is it the same thing you wanted to talk to all of us" Jungkook asked as he combed her hair with his fingers while his other hand rubbed her back rhythmically.

"Hmm" Lisa nodded her head and inhaled his mommy scent.

"Lali, any how we must take a flight tonight and return back. So, we all can talk about it tomorrow night" Jungkook said as he kissed her forehead.

"Right now, Bambam just called me and he wanted to prepone your therapy session today. He is having an important patient attending the day after tomorrow and he is currently here in the city itself." Jungkook told.

Lisa nodded her head and stood up from his lap. Anyway, she first wanted to discuss about this with Bambam and then talk to others.

But what's bothering her is Erick. He is very trained and professional that he managed to restrain himself from spilling out the truth and be loyal enough not to betray the person he is working for…

Who exactly will try to kill himself just because he is asked about Pranpriya. Or, is there any other ulterior motive behind that??

'Guess, we have to wait till he wakes up or else I have to ask Pranpriya herself' Lisa thought to herself as Jungkook led her to the underground parking lot.
