Chapter 86

November 7/2022

Dear Deary,

"When in doubt tell the truth. It will confound your enemies and astound your friends."

Mark Twain.

The truth can heal or hurt.

No matter how alluring the lie is, it is still better to almost always tell the truth. Lies and truth are equally dangerous. A person believes what he wants to believe, and even your truth may seem like a lie to him.

A lie for the good is acceptable, but the truth is sometimes sharper than any knife and even a samurai sword.
