Dear Deary,
"À la folie." — "To insanity."
Everything seems to be getting crazier.
Recently, my mother said that she saw the military in my home school. And I immediately thought that after some time the school simply would not be.
And the day before yesterday I heard the sounds of an explosion. So loud, but I could not even think that this explosion was in my area. I was scared, for the first time in this war. They seemed to be very close. Indeed, they were close.
A little later, yesterday morning, I learned that one of these explosions destroyed my friend's house, if I can still call it that.
His house is no more, not at all, only fragments of slate, wood and brick. How lucky they were to leave. Unfortunately, there are those who are not so lucky. Two guys looked after the house, one of them was very lucky, he escaped with not severe wounds and shell shock, I even know him, he was always lucky, but the second one died on the spot. I did not know the second, although they say that he had just got out of prison, he did not deserve such horror.
There was still a dog that these two fed, she walks through the wreckage, the place that used to be her home. I feel so sorry for them all, no one deserves this.
Everyone who lives here is simply destroyed. Wherever you call about the lack of electricity or other benefits of civilization, they answer you: "You are no longer Ukraine." How so?
