I was having a bad day at work, and came home to find all my strawberry pocky eaten, leaving me in a more depressed mood.

"I'm sorry Y/N-chin. I'll go buy some more if you want."

He spoke, but I shook my head and waved him off.

"It's fine. I'll just go to the store later."

I spoke, and he furrowed his brows.

All of a sudden, I was high up in the air, before we were both out the door.

"I can't believe you're dragging me all the way to the store, Atsushi."

I grumbled.

"Actually, I'm carrying you."

He spoke.

"Smartass."

I snapped.

"Better than being a dumbass, Y/N-Chin."

I rolled my eyes, as we made it to the store.

I handed him a basket, and sent him off to the snack aisle, as I did my food shopping.

Once I was done, I paid for everything, and we left.

We went home, and I laid on the couch, before closing my eyes.

I felt myself being picked up again.

"Now what. What do you need, Atsushi."

I grumbled, but I felt him nuzzle his face in my neck, causing my expression to soften.

"I just wanted to cuddle with Y/N-chin.."

He mumbled, and my heart broke in two.

"It's ok, we can cuddle.."

I spoke softly.

"Really?"

He asked, and I heard him sniffle.

My heart shattered hearing him in this condition.

I sat on his lap, wrapping my arms around his torso, placing my face against his chest.

"I'm sorry for speaking to you that way. We can cuddle and eat snacks, if that's what you want."

He looked at me, his big eyes full of tears.

"Really?"

He whimpered, and I gently wiped his tears away, kissing his forehead, then his nose.

"Really."

I spent the rest of my day cuddling this gentle giant, and I couldn't have asked for more to brighten my day.
