You understand him. He has done and said some very fucked up things but you know why. He doesn't know how to deal with his trauma.

You sat on your bed reading a book when Billy walked in. He laid his head onto your lap and you saw he had tears running down his face. You ran your fingers through his brown curls and closed your book. "Oh Billy.. I'm so sorry my dear." He cried and you gently made him lay down and you pulled him into a cuddle. You kissed all over his face and said comforting words to him. "I I'm a monster.." you shook your head no. "No baby, you're not a monster." You brushed his hair back and placed a kiss on his forehead. He pulled you close to him and wrapped you both in a blanket.
