At this point I had started giving up on the thought that James or even police would burst through the doors and help me
I mean there's been no signs that anybody has been looking for me at all.. I just hope I'm out of here before the twins are born
Beth is still coming in to let her anger out on me but what's new there, this was something Beth has done for years and now she gets free reign
Green eyes is still taking care of me and if it wasn't for him I don't think I'd still be here now, him and a few others have all been trying to get me out but with Beth or Maisie always being on the premises it was proving quite difficult
These guards never wanted to do this but Beth had dirt on every single one of them and is using that against them, I don't get how someone can be so cruel
Going through her whole life hating on others and bringing everyone down like surely she gets tired of this? You'd think she would anyway
How can someone be so happy to live their life that way is completely beyond me and I don't think I'll ever understand it
I could tell it was dark out since there was no light coming through any of the holes meaning green eyes would be making an appearance anytime soon
I could hear the gentle squeaks of the floorboards as someone made their way over to me but once the door had unlocked the person crouched down in front of me was someone I never thought I'd see
"What are you doing?" I whisper in disbelief
"I don't want to do this anymore.." Maisie explains
"I can't do this anymore.. I'm done with all this negativity and drama and just childish behaviour" Maisie continues to explain
"Why the sudden change of heart though?" I question
"I'm just done with Beth, I don't want my life to continue to be dragged down by her, it's not the life I want to live at all" Maisie says
"I can't help you escape since there's too many people here but I've brought you your phone quickly, Beth has been using it just make sure you delete things so when I put it back she won't notice" Maisie whispers
"Thank you" I reply
I unlock my phone and go straight to mine and James' conversation and seeing it completely filled with worried messages from him just breaks my heart
I quickly type out a message which hopefully he'll be able to track with the help with the police but since I have no idea the address I'm at I can't obviously send it
Riley~ James it's Riley, I'm okay and the twins are okay I hope this message brings you guys closer to finding me
James~ Is it really you?
Riley~ Yeah it is, they've got my locked up at some house in a cupboard, Maisie handed me my phone so I could contact you
James~ Okay we'll get straight to tracking you, I miss you
Before I could reply we could hear footsteps coming up meaning I wasn't able to reply to James, I quickly deleted it all before handing the phone back to Maisie who was about to shut the door again however green eyes was the owner of the footsteps and he was carrying over some food and drink for me so Maisie left it open and left the room
"What was she doing?" Green eyes whispers to me
"She's had a change of heart" I reply making him scoff
"Maisie? She's now deciding to be nice?" He scoffs making me giggle
"Thank you for the food" I say softly before digging in
"You don't have to thank me for the bare essentials, I do have news for you though" he says "I know James has contacted the police so hopefully they figure it out quickly then you'll be out of here" He continues
"Yeah but if the police come the nice ones here will go down for the shit Beth has forced them to do" I say
"We already knew that was going to be the outcome but between you and me a few of us have gone to the police ourselves about this so we're already safe" he explains
"So why haven't they arrived already?" I ask
"I have no idea but I was also blindfolded when I was brought here.. none of us have left since we got here and we can only see a massive fence outside" he explains
"So Beth is keeping all of us hostage?" I question causing him to nod his head
"Can I know who you are yet?" I continue only getting some laughter
"Not a chance Ri" he laughs causing me to do the same
"It's worth a shot" I reply making him nod his head the crease under his eyes showing he's smiling underneath the cover in his face
