Double Standards

The whole team was stood to the side of the stage watching as the other teams dance, a few have made some mistakes but ultimately they all still had a brilliant routine and all this did was create even more nerves
Luca was still nowhere to be seen and our duet was getting closer and closer, Michelle and Miss Kate are still unable to reach him as well

"Next up we have duets so can Indie and Rob from Industrial Studios come on stage please" one of the judges announces making me head straight towards Michelle to have an update on what's going on
"Michelle.. any luck?" I sigh making Michelle shake her head
"Every phone call now is being hung up on so I've got no idea what's going on, no one has heard anything from him in the last few days" Michelle explains

"What are we supposed to do, we're up next" I say in frustration
"I'll dance with you" a voice behind me shouts out making everyone's attention turn on them
"Do you even know the dance?" I question
"Yeah I do, I've watched you dance it and I've been going over it all morning" James explains

"Then it's settled James will dance with Riley" Miss Kate exclaims with a smile
I know this is something she's always wanted to see again, I just pray James knows it enough
I pull James to the side to go over it all and make sure he knows it all and to my surprise he had majority of it figured out

Michelle runs back over with Lucas costume for James to chuck on and thankfully they weren't too different in size, James was more muscly then Luca so it was a little tight over his biceps but I certainly wasn't complaining

"Next up is Riley and Luca from The Next Step" the judge announces only causing my heart to sink
"You've got this" West shouts with the other team mates joining in before clapping us onto the stage
I look into James' eyes and my nerves somehow disappear, I felt so safe up upon this stage with James beside me

I had let every emotion I had been feeling throughout the morning into this routine and as we finish the entire place up roars with screams and clapping making me look over at James with a massive smile as he pulls me in close planting a passionate kiss on my lips

We walk off stage to our team and everyone of them looked so proud and happy about our performance
"That was incredible guys" Miss Kate exclaims
"Thank you" James and I both reply at the same time and as the next team our announced we go quiet and let them perform
Half way through their performance I notice Luca stood off the the side and I'm unsure of anyone has noticed him but I don't make it obvious incase anyone decides to cause a scene

I head towards my bag which is behind the group to grab myself and James some water but I'm soon stopped by some shouting
"Where we're you?" West spits, I'm guessing people have spotted Luca now..

"I was busy" Luca replies with the same hostility and it wasn't long before Noah, James and some of the other boys who names I can't remember make their way towards Luca
"You know people on this team should be able to rely on their teammates" Noah shouts
"I was fucking busy!" Luca snarls making everyone's expressions darken

"You should have been there for your team! For Riley! You should of been on that stage dancing but instead I had to fill in for you" James snarls
"I had better things to be doing then dancing alongside someone who's to afraid to leave you" Luca spits making everyone else gasp with shock

I have no idea where this has come from.. I've never spoken to Luca about our problems

"Who said she wants to leave me" James chuckles
"A little blonde birdy told me about the past and it's only a matter of time before Riley realises you haven't changed" Luca spits again resulting in James punching him across his face knocking him to the ground

I rush over to James and drag him back up to our room the entire journey being silent
"What the fuck was that" James sighs as we enter the room
"I've got no idea.. Michelle was the one who knew every detail back along and she's the only one I had opened up to here.." I whisper

I was meant to be happy being back at dance but with todays episode I'm starting to dread it
Do I just leave now before it gets worse or do I stick with it..
