I overheard the argument between James and Riley and I knew what I had to do
I understand that it's extremely wrong and I could get into quite a bit of trouble but finding out the truth is worth that risk and they both deserve to know the truth
I wait around to the end of the day so it would be less busy and log into the computer and pull up Beth's medical records and search through it to find out the needed information
It doesn't take me long to find what I need to find however as soon as I did I printed it all off and put it inside an envelope
Once I had logged off the computer some of my colleagues had come in so thankfully I had managed to do all of that without getting caught
Beth walks past me and gives me a smile as she rubs her stomach but all I could do was give her a fake on back and I shake my head once she passes
I've heard about the type of person she is and the steps she's taken going over this matter is truly fucked up
It's like I've never even knew the person I've shared some of my life stories with and the ones she's told me I've questioned
Who knows what Beth is truly capable of but this type of person shouldn't be able to give care to anyone who needs it, the type of person she is shouldn't ever be in charge of someone else's care
I walk down the long white corridors which are quite busy today since it was around dinner time so staff where absolutely everywhere
It feels like the closer I got to the room Riley was in the further away it seemed, the corridors felt so much longer then what they usually do but all that seemed to do was make me worry that much more
I make it to the corridor where Riley's room was in sight and walk as fast as I could towards it
Putting my hand on the door handle I could see that inside Riley was having a nap so I quietly walk into the room before placing the envelope on the table in front of her and then turn around to leave
"You've left this" Riley says making me shake my head
"No I haven't" I inform her before heading outside
I don't usually smoke but today I really needed one, I was overloaded with information and I've also committed a crime so I think I can let myself off for having a cigarette
"Jonah" I hear someone call out making me look up and I can see James walking towards me
"Hey James, there's something you need to know" I explain softly
"What do you mean?" James asks with furrowed brows
"I've left it up in Patrick's room, you need to go look at it with Riley, it's really important" I reply
"Alright I'll go up now, thank you for letting me know" James quickly says before heading towards the entrance doors
I know I could of told them both in person but they needed to see the proof otherwise they wouldn't of believed me and once they've seen it themselves we can take action towards Beth
She needs to get out of this job.. and I will make sure that happens
