"I'm not busy this evening, can we meet?" I ask Riley as we waste away the morning in bed together
"I've got dance practice" Riley sighs with a slight pout
"Can I come watch? Do you think Miss Kate would allow that?" I suggest
"You know I think she'll let you, I think Miss Kate actually might miss you" Riley replied with a smirk causing me to chuckle

"Dad comes back today but I'm not sure what time though" Riley softly says
"Wow that's gone by fast" I sigh
"It really has, can we go to the shops? I wanna fill the cupboards back up and then tidy the house up before he comes back" Riley asks making me nod my head

"Sounds like a good idea but first can we shower together" I suggest hoping Riley would say yes and with the look on her face I believe I know my answer.
Riley gets out of bed with a small glance back to make sure I followed which of course I do
The shower got hot and steamy pretty quickly and even ended up lasting longer then any of us thought but neither of us can complain

We both re wash ourselves and once we're satisfied we get out and get ready and with the looks of this morning today was going to be a beautiful day
I put on a pair of denim shorts and a white t-shirt I had packed them I go and sort my hair out

I emerge from the bathroom to find Riley in a tight fitting green dress that's got a cut out in the middle so it shows her toned stomach off with her hair in a messy bun on the top of her head
"You look beautiful" I whisper in her ear as I wrap my arms around her stomach planting kisses in her neck just like I was doing in the shower

"You know what that does to me" Riley moans and she wasn't wrong, Riley's neck was and always will be her weak spot which makes it my favourite spot to kiss
"You ready to go" I ask causing Riley to nod her head before putting on a pair of white air forces

It's been a few hours and Riley was now getting her things ready to go to The Next Step and I would be lying if I was to say I wasn't excited to see Riley dance again
Riley is extremely talented and I'm proud of her for getting back into something she loves

Once Riley had double checked she had everything we get into my car and I drive us over, as we got closer everything started flooding back to me
All of the good memories but it isn't look before the bad ones comes back.. all my stupid little mistakes
I try and push the to the back of my mind so I don't upset Riley before we head in together

We make a stop at Miss Kates office to find her staring at some paperwork on her desk in frustration
"Hey stranger, long time no see" I speak up making Miss Kate jump a little
"Oh James! Has Riley convinced you to come back yet?" Miss Kate beams as she pulls me in for a hug

"No no I'm just her to watch my girl dance" I explain looking at Riley who tries to hide her blushing cheeks
"Awh you guys are adorable, it's so lovely to see you again James" Miss Kate says before we head to Studio A where I get introduced to everyone here
The familiar faces I thought I would see hasn't arrived just yet

The studio doors creak open making me turn around to see a face I didn't recognise but considering Riley hadn't introduced a Luca yet I'm assuming that's who has just walked in
Luca looked like he had gotten hardly any sleep, if I'm honest he looked very drained

"That's Luca, the one I'm doing the duet with" Riley whispers to me as she catches me looking at him
"I thought so, he looks like he's in his head" I whisper back making Riley look at him for a little before agreeing
"Yeah I think he is, I don't know him though so it could be anything" Riley replies making me nod my head

In a way Luca reminds me of myself..
