As soon as we pulled into our new driveway we started unloading the van straight away taking each box to the room that was labelled on the top of it
We weren't anywhere near done when we noticed that the sun was setting causing me to let out a sigh of frustration
"It's getting late and we haven't even unpacked the van yet" I call out to James
"It's okay, we'll do what we can tonight then carry on with the rest tomorrow morning, we've got the van until lunch time tomorrow so we haven't got to rush" James explains
"What are we going to do for food? Nothings unpacked" I sigh
"We'll order a takeaway" James softly replies "Stop worrying so much, we've got this" James continues before planting a light kiss on my forehead
"Shall we order some food now and do the rest tomorrow?" James suggest causing me to nod my head
We lock up the van and head inside our new home, I take a look around the front room which is now covered with multiple brown boxes
The amount of work and stress that goes into moving is something I had forgotten about and the added stress of me being pregnant is the cherry on top
I make my way into the kitchen as I hear James talking to the man on the phone and giving them our order and I make it my mission to try and find some plates and cutlery within the boxes stacked in here
I check the ones closest to me first and of course they weren't in there so I grab the box at the top of one tower and attempt to take it down
The box was heavier then I imagined it would be and I stumble backwards landing in the arms of James who quickly grabs the box off of me after making sure I was stable
"What are you trying to do?" James gasps placing the box on the floor
"I'm trying to find us some plates and cutlery" I explain
"Next time ask me to help with the boxes placed up high, I don't want you hurting yourself" James sighs causing me to nod my head
We eventually found what we was looking for and minutes after a knock was heard coming from our front door
James excitedly jumps up to greet the delivery person but with his reaction after opening the door peaked my curiosity causing me to make my way towards the front door
There stood Maisie with our food wearing the biggest smirk plastered across her face
"Oh it's nice to know you're our new neighbours" Maisie beams
"What?" James replies
"We love in the neighbourhood, so welcome we're all friendly here" Maisie says
"Who's we?" I scoff
"Me and Beth" Maisie laughs cussing James to snatch our food from her fingertips before slamming the door in her face
The last thing we needed was for either of them to know where we lived and on our first night they found out
"I thought she danced across town?" James sighs
"She did, she soon disappeared once I started and the spotlight wasn't on her anymore and no one knew where she went but it's very clear now that she works as a delivery driver" I explain letting out a sigh as well
"I hope they leave us alone" James says before placing the food down on the island in the kitchen
"I have a feeling that they'll start their usual shit" I reply
"Yeah I've got a funny feeling they will too" James sighs before placing his head in his hands
I sort out our food and try to lighten the mood up but there's nothing I could say or do to make the situation better all we can do is pray that Maisie and Beth stay far away from us
