Chris and Street were ready to leave their house for work when Chris suggested, "Let's take the bike!"

Street smirked in response and looked down as both of their phones chimed.

"Looks like we're headed straight to a scene today," she said after reading the phone notification.

They quickly grabbed their helmets and rode on Street's motorcycle to the location. Although Street was supposed to be mentally preparing for the op, he was reveling in the sensation he never tired of- his dream girl pressed so close against him, her hands gripping him tightly, her head resting on his back. He always loved riding his motorcycle, but he loved it even more when she was with him.

Upon arrival to the scene, a beat cop ran over to them and said, "Please step away. This is an active scene."

Chris dismounted the motorcycle, pulled out her badge, and replied, "Yeah, I know. I'm LAPD SWAT Captain Alonso." She removed her helmet and handed it to Street.

"Oh, my apologies, captain," the cop replied and looked over at Street who was hanging one helmet on each handlebar when she continued, "I guess I just didn't expect a captain to show up to a crime scene on a motorcycle with some guy."

Chris looked back at Street, who had crossed the police line, and then returned her gaze to the cop. "That guy happens to be one of the SWAT Officers also called to the scene."

Street flashed his badge to the cop with a tight smile and walked past the women to head towards the fast approaching Black Betty.

"My apologies. Just trying to do my job, captain," the cop said regretfully.

"What's your name, officer?" Chris asked.

"Officer Salazar," the cop replied.

"Officer Salazar, let's put your hyper vigilance to good use. Come with me," Chris commanded and walked toward the sergeant on scene.

After the morning raid, Chris invited Officer Salazar to join the briefing back at HQ as the team continued to look further into the terror plot they uncovered. Street and Tan stayed in eagle's nest to do research while the rest of the team left to do work elsewhere.

"Officer Salazar, can I speak to you?" Chris asked and motioned for them to step away from eagle's nest into the armory. Officer Salazar quietly followed.

"You had great instincts this morning. SWAT could use always use more officers like you within our ranks," Chris encouraged.

Officer Salazar snickered and responded, "You mean you're looking for more women."

"Excuse me," Chris asked, dumbfounded.

"Look, I know that it's a big boys club in the LAPD, and the brass wants it to look more equal, but I'm not gonna fall for it. If I get a new spot, I'm gonna earn it. Unlike you," Officer Salazar spat.

Street, who was overhearing the conversation, tensed up and went to walk towards Officer Salazar. Tan held him back and whispered, "Chris can handle herself. Chill."

Street knew Tan was right, so he stopped moving, but it didn't stop him from overhearing the rest of the conversation. He also noticed how disgusted Tan looked, too.

"You're mistaken, officer. I earned my spot on SWAT as an officer and as a captain, and I don't appreciate you insinuating that I didn't. Also, I've been doing everything I can to make SWAT qualifications equitable for women, but NOT easier. I meant what I said. I like your instincts, and I think you would make a good addition, but you would still have to prove yourself and earn a spot here," Chris spat back.
