..........

Some weeks later.

**

When Rachel told me about her dream wedding, I couldn't help but imagine what kind of a wedding would I like to have. What kind of a dress would I want to wear, which

flowers would the decorators use, where would I want to go for my honeymoon, the kind of cake we'd have at the reception, the band we'd hire and a million other

things.

But I also realized that my wedding was a while away from now, much to ym father's satisfaction.

For now, I had the oppurtunity to witness the formation of the bond of marriage between two people who really taught me the true meaning of love...

The wedding ceremony of Mark and Rachel....

A gasp escaped Mark's lips as he saw Rachel walking down the aisle towards him.

Rachel looked like a demigodess as she walked towards the aisle, where Mark was waiting for her, love clearly shone in his eyes, with a good proportion of admiration

for his future wife.

Rachel wore a stunning, modern strapless wedding gown. Her dress had a gorgeous bodice with ruched bust and red bodice covered in a lovely sheer floral lace overlay.

The fitted bodice also has a red sash and has an elegant ribbon tie closure on back, made of taffeta material.

The dress suited Rachel in more than a couple of ways, and it completely matched the kind of decoration they had chosen.

Very unusual, I know, but their wedding took place in the park, with a very limited gathering.

The wedding, held almost as the break of dusk was to be followed by reception.

Rachel smiled her magnificent smile as she came and stood opposite to Mark, flowers still in her hand.

COntrary to all the other things in their wedding, they had actually hired a pastor to help in the exchange of their wedding vows.

Once the pastor started the ceremony, it was time for Mark and Rachel to say their vows.

"I choose you, to be no other than yourself, loving what I know of you, and trusting who you will become. I will respect and honour you always in all ways. With you I

pledge to repair one small piece of the world. I take you to be my spouse, to have and to hold, in tears and in laughter, in sickness and in health, to love and to

cherish, from this day forward, in this world and the next." Mark said, tears glistening in his eyes.

He proceeded to wipe the few drops that had escaped from Rachel's kohl-decorated eyes as she cleared her throat to speak.

"As we walk down the pathways of life, I will be with you wherever these paths may go. I will dwell with you, no matter life's circumstances. I will be a part of your

family as I take you into my own. I will worship God with you and do all within my power to help you wak closer to our Lord. With my whole being, I give myself to you,

and to creating this beautiful world of our own. May God allow me to faithfully share my love to you as long as we both shall live and beyond..." Rachel said, smiling

as she looked into Mark's eyes.

They then proceeded to exchange their rings.

"Mark and Rachel have joined themselves to each other by solemn vows, signified by the joining of hands and the giving and receiving of a ring. I declare that they are

husband and wife, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Those whom God has joined together let no one put asunder.

You may now seal your promises with a kiss." The pastor said.

He got a bit delayed though, as Mark already bent down to kiss Rachel lovingly.

I wiped a stray tear from my cheek and turned to Daniel.

"Beautiful, huh?" I whispered.

"Beyond that. It'll be us one day, and my vow shall only say one line." He said.

"And what would that be?" I asked.

"That you will always be my one and only." He said as he bent down to kiss me.
