Belonging to a man seizes my mind into a cloud of fire. They waged me like I was a prize, although I was only ever my own to begin with.
Even shouting his name, whether that was in bed or in fury, I never truly belonged to Mattheo as much as myself.
Storming past the living room and towards the kitchen, I grabbed a glass of water to drain my thoughts. It was pure annoyance that rang beneath my ears, but the moment I saw Astoria, Vin, Camille, Pansy and Alex sitting together in the dining table eating breakfast a small smile formed.
Both laid their heads on the two boys that watched the two girls like a hawk. Never forgetting Camille was indeed still there and shared glances to make sure she was fine.
"You look like shit Octavia" Vin said earning a smack in the arm by Pansy.
"Ow! She's my sister I can be honest!"
"And she's also my best friend so don't be a dick" Pansy scowled and Vin immediately clamped his mouth shut at her tone.
"How are you guys doing?"
"As good as we can be" Astoria sighed shutting her eyes as Alex fed her another bite of pancakes.
"What's wrong with you sunshine?"
"Yeah something's wrong isn't it?" Pansy lifted her brow.
"Nothing that you need to worry about-enjoy your breakfast I'm going to go and freshen up" I sighed.
