It's admirable how fast she gets along with people she has known for such a short period of time. Another two weeks passed and today is our last evening here.

We have been here at Ana's restaurant every evening for the last thirteen days. Nevaeh also met Alejandro, Ana's husband and the three of them have been obsessed with each other since then.

It was one of the most beautiful things I got to see this whole entire trip. My woman laughing with two very important people in my life.

This whole trip- it was amazing. I've never enjoyed being here that much than with her. It was so special to watch her fall asleep every evening around the same time. Watching her sleep in the morning until she wakes up. Watching how peaceful it is here with her.

The trips to the beach, into town, the markets. The days we spent only at the pool and the others where we weren't able to get out of bed because we couldn't get enough from each other. Those four weeks were some of the most beautiful weeks in my whole fucking life.

We got here at six. Now it's two in the morning. We're still sitting outside, right next to the ocean, talking. Ana and Nevaeh were lost in conversations while Alejandro and I talked about old times.

The man has had so much luck he's still here, I have to use the time with him even more. The man had a stroke and a heart attack in the time of six months and still is sitting here like nothing happened.

"Nate, would you help me bring in the dishes? And prepare new drinks with me?" Ana asks me as she gets up from her chair and waits for me to do the same.

We were silent at first as I put the dishes into the sink and she prepared some new cocktails. "I haven't seen you smile that often since I've known you compared to how much you laughed in those days. You seem happy. And I think that we can thank this gorgeous woman outside for this."

She doesn't know how much it means to me to hear Ana's opinion. "That's because I am happy. Very happy." "I'm glad to hear that."

Ana suddenly stopped cutting the fruits what made me turn around to make sure she's alright. "la amas, no?" "Stop it, Ana."

The woman makes some steps towards me as she places a hand on my arm. "Just say it." "I can't, Ana. You know I can't."

"Well I already know my answer. And so do you. Just don't wait too long. She won't wait forever. And you have a good one out there. She's something for life, Nate." Her hand moves up and down my arm as a reassuring gesture. "Keep her. Make her happy. And don't mess it up."

That was the last thing she said before she got out and left me with the dishes.

We stayed until the sun rose. Which means that it's time to say goodbye now. I was just saying goodbye to Alejandro, patting his back and telling him to call me more often.

Then, it was Ana's turn. The small woman gestured me to lean down to hug me and when she did, she whispered into my ear. "Come here more often. With her. I swear I will not talk to you if you don't bring her. And think about what I said, alright?"

"I got it, Ana. Thank you for everything." She held me so tight it surprised me she still had so much strength. "We love you, boy," she whispers in tears. "I love you too. I do," We stayed like this for a while longer before she let me go and waved at Nevaeh and me. "Come home safe, alright?"

"We will. Thank you very much." Nevaeh said. We waved back at them and then walked back to my car.

Nevaeh fell asleep the second she had her seatbelt on and closed the door. We had our stuff packed yesterday so we can use the rest of the day to rest. The flight goes at five in the evening and right now it's only six in the morning.

The drive to the house was quiet. Made me think that I don't want to go back. It was so, so amazing with her.

The late night talks we had. The showers and baths we took together, not a single worry around us.

Her laughs. God, I didn't know it was possible but I have grown more addicted to those laughs. It does something with me. It does something with everyone.

She's a blessing. A blessing for someone who doesn't deserve it. She deserves better. So much better.

But I am the one she wanted. She is the one I wanted. So again, I will keep her. I won't let her go. Never.

"We're here," I whispered as I shook her lightly to wake her up. Nevaeh didn't even really react to me. She just got out of the car and into the house where she immediately threw herself into bed, waiting for me to join her.

So as I was in bed with her, I wrapped my arms around her to pull her close to me and then inhaled her scent as I pushed my face in her hair. "Nathaniel?" She whispers. "Hmm?"

Nevaeh stayed quiet as if she wanted to think about what she wanted to say before she did. "I want to start taking birth control,"

"Where does that come from?" We've never discussed that. "I don't know. I guess we just wouldn't have to be that careful anymore. I just wanted to know what you say,"

I pull her even closer to me and kiss the back of her head. "It's your body, baby. You'll have the mood swings and probably some other side effects. I don't want you to feel like you have to take it because I don't want to wrap me up anymore. If you ask for my opinion then I want you to only take it of you'll do it for you only. Got it?" "Got it, sir."
