Today's the day

Today's the day. We're standing in front of the campus of the FBI academy. There are alreday some other people our age waiting next to us.

And at exactly eight o'clock the gate opens. It feels strange. Kind of scary even. I would've never expected it to look like this.

There are officers standing at the gate with some german shepherds. Are they looking for drugs on us? A man came and guided us into a bigger hall where he told us to wait. After he gave us a name shield that he told us to wear.

"This seems so surreal don't you think?" Amber asks. "It's strange." I answer. There's a man that keeps staring at me. His name is Tobias Collins from what I can read off the little shield that is attached to his shirt.

He looks like an asshole. "Could you please help me for a second?" Amber asks next to me as she fidgets with her name tag, seeming not being able to put it on.

So I help her and fix it for her when I hear a door being shut and footsteps following. That must be our coach. So I turn around and almost choke on my own spitting.

Holy shit. No fifty year old. Not. At. All. At first all I see is muscles. And a tall person in some training clothes. As my eyes wander up further and furter, I am met with an absolutely beautiful symmetrical face, light coloured eyes and light brown hair.

He walks over to our group and stops at a spot where everyone sees him. "Good morning, everyone." God that voice. The deep tone in it makes my panties damp. My knees are weaker than after an three-hour run with dad.

"My name is Nathaniel Parker. I'll be your coach for the next time. The first thing you should know. We're meeting here everyday at this exact time. If I or some of my colleagues catch you with drugs you're out. You're getting checked daily so don't get any ideas. That's it. We're starting."

He turned around and was about to walk to the door that leads into another room when a woman out of the group asks him. "You don't want to know anything about us?"

Mr. Parker turns around again and looks at the redhead. "I couldn't care less. If I need your names I'll read them off the tags. I don't need and don't want to know more. Now move."

Of course he's an asshole. Who would have thought that a handsome man would actually also have a good personality? Right. Doesn't fit together.

Parker leads us into a boxing room. "The first thing we'll do today are some boxing exercises. I want you to know how you handle a punch bag. Bandages are in the shelves on the right. We're getting started in ten minutes."

I pull my hoodie over my heand and reveal myself in only a sports bra and sports pants, Amber doing the same. We get to bandage up our hands and then he came back, looking around at our hands how we tie them.

He is rude. Very rude. I just finished my right hand as I was about to start the left one before he grabs my wrist and stops me from tying it.

"Put that thing off." He tells me. How is it possible that this man already annoys me? He has his gaze on my bracelet with the ring on it.

I have never taken it down ever since I used it as a bracelet because it wouldn't fit on my fingers anymore.

So I will not put it off because a rude and good looking man tells me to. My dad always told me to never let a man intimidate me.

This guy right in front of that is trying just that. So I look up at him. "No." He looks confused at first. Maybe because it's not usual for him that a woman talks back at him. Especially not one my age.

"Get it off, Carter." I stay where I am on my seat and look him in the eyes, just continuing to tie the bandage around my wrist. "Why?" I ask him.

He puts his hands on a tool in front of me and leans forward so he is on eye level with me. "Because the ring is going to sabotage your hitting. It's going to press into your skin and I bet that you'll have to stop after at least ten minutes because you can't bear the pain. So take it off."

How is it possible that this man is already annoying me so much? His words just make me mad so I tie the bandage and then get up to Amber starting the punchings. I know it's a childish behavior I'm doing right now. I just can't care less right now.

I feel his eyes on me but I don't dare to look over to him or show that it actually hurts. Amber and I share the bag. It's her tur  to punch now and mine to hold it for her so I can rest my wrist.

This shit really hurts. The ring has a little diamond on it and the sharp edges press into my skin under the tight bandage.

God, these 21 weeks are going to be the death of me. I hope that I will never have to deal with this man again after this time.

Mr. Parker is walking from group to group, telling them what to do and how to do it better until he reaches us.

He catches me completely off guard when he grabs my left wrist and makes me hiss out in pain as he touches my ring and the damaged skin underneath.

The asshole grins at me and slowly releases my hand again before helping Amber to make the punches and her technique better. "This man is such an asshole." Amber says under her breath after he left.

We had a break after an hour and went through the program we would have during the five months until our finals and until we are official FBI agents.

There goes part two. I just love writing about assholes. I am sorry that it's still a little boring. The beginning of the stories are always pretty hard for me to write.
