The weekend came faster than any of them would've expected, Minho and Jisung getting ready to head over to Chan's apartment, where they'd meet up with the other four. Minho was ecstatic as he had never done such things in his youth. He had lived so isolated with his parents that he had never experienced hangouts with friends and couldn't wait to catch up on the lost experience. The hybrid was also excited to watch things progress between Felix and his mate, Changbin. Jisung too was more than curious, well aware that the other rapper liked Felix but that the concept of being mates was as foreign to the older as it had been to him. Hopefully the evening would go smoothly.

Chan had already gone shopping for snacks the previous evening, stocking up on potato chips, crackers and cans of soda. Felix had promised him he'd bring cookies and brownies, so they'd be all prepared for the evening ahead. The younger Aussie couldn't shake his nervousness as he looked forward to a friendly hangout with his cousin, best friend and mate. He already knew his friends would be teasing them and not knowing where he stood with Changbin didn't necessarily make things easier. Chan had told him that the younger rapper had a sweet tooth, which was the main reason Felix wanted to bake for all of them. Chan and Jisung had both assured him, that Changbin also felt a pull towards him but he was still nervous around the other. They were mates and he didn't want his mate to have a bad impression of him.

Minho had been talking to the younger hybrid a lot over the previous days. As they were dancing together, Felix often struggled to focus, getting more anxious the closer they got to the weekend. Being able to relate to the Aussie's feelings the best, Minho was there to comfort the other, while Hyunjin hyped the boy up, trying to get his confidence up. The two younger dancers were already planning a trip to the mall, where they'd look for the perfect outfit Felix could wear for their hangout. They had already picked up most of the clothes and were only looking around for accessories, when Felix spotted a makeup store close by. He knew Hyunjin wouldn't judge him about wanting to check it out but he was surprised when the older told him they couldn't go in.

At first, Felix was confused about his hyung's antics, as the older pulled him away to a far corner of the clothing store they were currently in. "She's there", Hyunjin hissed quietly as they hid. A look of realization flashed across Felix' face. He knew the older was talking about his ex and from what he had gathered, they hadn't separated smoothly and Hyunjin was afraid of having to face her. Nodding in acknowledgement, the Aussie followed him to a different clothing store to get some distance between them. The older heaved a sigh of relief and leaned his back against the wall as he breathed: "What type of make-up were you going for? I have some stuff, so if you want to wear make-up when we hang out, I could do your make-up for you." - "Oh, just some concealer or a high coverage foundation. Something to cover my freckles with", Felix smiled but his smile soon faded when he looked at Hyunjin.

Hyunjin looked so disappointed, shaking his head and insisting: "That's not going to happen. I won't let you cover your adorable freckles. I have a nice golden highlighter that I think would go very well with your freckles and maybe some blush, though I don't think you'd need that when meeting Changbin-ow!" Felix had slapped his arm at the mention of his mate, feeling embarrassed that the older had such a strong effect on him. "Sorry", Felix muttered, "I'd love if you did my make-up. Anything that'd make me feel pretty is highly appreciated." - "Aww, Lixxie. I'll make you really pretty", Hyunjin promised as they headed to the check out.

That was how Felix ended up in Hyunjin's room after he had finished baking their treats for the night. The older dancer looked like proud mother when he saw Felix in the outfit they had picked out together. The thin leather choker they had gotten completed Felix' look perfectly and after styling the Aussie's hair, Hyunjin applied a light dusting of highlighter on his dongsaeng's cheekbones, giving them a soft golden glow. The younger anxiously picked at his nails, earning a soft slap on his hand from Hyunjin who scolded: "Everything will be fine, so stop ruining your pretty nails." Felix gave him a pout but followed his hyung to the front door as they were finally ready to meet up with their friends.

Clinging to the boxes of cookies and brownies for dear life, Felix nervously followed Hyunjin to the elevator. He couldn't help but check his appearance over and over again, glad there was a mirror in the elevator. "You look fine, Lix. Stop worrying and just have fun tonight, yeah?", Hyunjin smiled, pulling the younger out of the elevator. Felix hands trembled so badly, he almost dropped the boxes of treats as Chan opened the door inviting them in. They left their shoes at the front door and Hyunjin took the boxes from Felix, taking them to where Chan gestured was the kitchen, while the older pulled his cousin into a hug, promising: "Today is really just a fun hang out, so you really don't need to be nervous. Deep breaths, yeah?" Slowly relaxing into the other's embrace, Felix nodded and took a few moments to clam his racing heart before moving away. He was ready now.

In the living room, Minho and Jisung were already waiting for him and Hyunjin soon joined them after leaving the food in the kitchen. At first, Felix was confused because he couldn't see Changbin anywhere but soon the bathroom door opened and the older rapper joined them too. He shot Felix a small smile as they all settled down. Chan handed everyone a can of soda as they chatted, catching up on each other's lives as they had all been busy lately. Eventually, Hyunjin spoke up: "I'm sorry but I've been waiting all day for Felix to let me try his cookies." - "Oh yeah, the snacks!", Chan gasped, getting to his feet, "Almost forgot about them." The two Aussies made their way to the kitchen, where Felix opened the boxes of the treats he had brought, leaving the lids on the counter before serving his work to his friends in the living room. Chan followed suit with to bowls of potato chips and a plate filled with crackers.

"Minho, no offence but these brownies are so much better than what you sell at the café", Changbin hummed, cheeks still stuffed and a few chocolaty crumbs on his lips. Felix couldn't help but stare at the adorable sight, though he wanted to look away and hide his flushed cheeks at the compliment. It took a while till the butterflies in the boy's tummy had calmed enough to allow himself to nibble on one of the cookies too. As the atmosphere grew more and more comfortable, the group started with their games. A few rounds of truth or dare revealed that Hyunjin wasn't at all into girls despite having dated so many, Changbin couldn't sleep without his favorite plushie Gyu and Jisung was still a bad cook, though Minho tried to teach him. Felix couldn't help but adore Changbin even more, hearing that he slept with a plushie. It was a stark contrast to the tough appearance the rapper usually kept up.

Felix relaxed as the evening really did seem to go well. His nerves were almost completely gone and he chose 'dare' when he suddenly ended up having to let one of his friends kiss him. They were going to blindfold him and one of them would kiss him. Felix would have to guess who it was afterwards. It really shouldn't be so difficult as Felix was confident he could identify anyone in the room by their scent but still, it was uncomfortable. Trying to calm himself down, the dancer reminded himself that he might really find out what Changbin felt for him, if he noticed the rapper act jealous after someone else had kissed him. Felix was sent out of the room, while the others discussed who would kiss him and wanting to prank the youngest, they decided Changbin would kiss him but would quickly trade places with Chan before the dancer removed the blindfold to make him believe he had just kissed his cousin.

Minho and Jisung were a bit skeptical of the idea as they knew it felt very special to kiss one's mate but at the same time, they'd get to confirm whether the two truly were mates, so as long as they'd clear the confusion up soon afterwards, the prank should be fine. Hyunjin went to get Felix and made the younger sit down in the middle of the room, blindfolding him with a scarf. He was confused by the scents around him. There was Hyunjin's as the other was right behind him to put the blindfold on him but the other scent he couldn't identify. It was almost like a blend of different scents, similar to Chan's but not quite, similar to Changbin's but not quite either.

Both Chan and Changbin crouched down in front of the younger, Changbin's heart racing as he placed a soft kiss on his crush's lips, tensing when he felt a static tingling. Had he dragged his feet when walking over the carpet? He could feel his heart pound in his throat as he moved away and took a seat next to Hyunjin. Chan sat down in front of Felix, a wide smile on his lips as the younger removed the blindfold. Felix had been confident that Changbin had kissed him because he had felt his lips tingle but when he spotted Chan, his heart stopped. That shouldn't be possible. He couldn't help but scramble away startled, as he tried to wrap his head around what had just happened.
