So today me and kamarion are on a road trip.
we're going to Memphis to see some of my family.
it was only like 3 hours from where we lived. (i forgot where the hell they lived so just play along🤣)
Kamarion was driving and my pregnant ass was just munching on snacks.
My family was having a little reunion and i haven't seen everyone in a little over 2 years
"all you do is fuckin eat" kamarion said shaking his head
"well if you knew how to pull out we wouldn't be having this discussion right now, now would we?" i said and rolled my eyes
we was only an hour and a half away from our hotel
ian wanna stay wit nun of my family members cause i wanna be in my own space • • • • • •
we got here an hour ago and after checking into our hotel and putting our bags in there, we headed to my grandmas house where everyone was.
"not my fav cousin pregnant" yasmin dragged as she came and gave me a hug
"yeah i know" i shook my head
"this is my boyfriend kamarion" i introduced them
"wassup" he nodded
he instantly clicked with some of my boy cousins and was about to go play cards with them
my favorite auntie, erica walked in the door and i jumped up and ran over to her
"hi auntieeee" i dragged and hugged her
"hey baby girl" she said and looked down
"oh my gosh, my baby gon have a baby" she said
"yep 7 months" i said
"my boyfriends over there" i pointed and walked her over
"bae this is my favorite auntie" i said
"hi ma'am how are you" he stood up and they hugged
*ole fake polite ass* i said in my head
"i hope you treating my niece good" my auntie said
"yes ma'am, i am" he said
everyone was just hanging out, enjoying the time as a family.
kids and teens were running around, adults at tables, elders on their lawn chairs being messy.
it was a typical black family reunion.
"So how long y'all here for?" Yasmin asked
"we leaving in the morning" i said and she nodded
not too many good memories here, i just came to let everyone know i was still alive and leave
"where's daisha, i ain't seen her nowhere" i asked
when i was younger, it was me, yasmin, daisha, and a few of my boy cousins who always used to be together.
"chile prolly with that boyfriend of hers. she don't come around no mo" Tyri said
"oh, i told her i was here but i didnt get a text back so" i shrugged.
i was eating good asl. i had some chicken, mac and cheese, whipped potatoes, and a roll. i also had some greens.
