"wassup boss man" a worker said to me as i entered the trap.
I nodded and walked back to my office.
Kayla and Landen was in there smoking. Fuckin potheads.
"Wassup K3" "Waddup"
I dabbed them up and went to sit down.
"My money all there?" i asked them and they nodded. When I can't be here to count it i either have Kayla, Landen, or Tay do it.
"Ight well yall tryna slide to Tay's? I think the girls cooking"
"Yeah let's meet there"
I locked my office and went to my car.
Tay house was 25 minutes away so it was a long drive.
I listened to music and smoked a blunt on my way there.
20 minutes later
"Hey Bae" i walked in to Tay kitchen and saw lana T the stove. I hugged her from behind.
"Hey love" she turned around and gave me a kiss.
"This kitchen smell good"
Lana was making her fire add mac and cheese and greens, Kiyah was seasoning the chicken, and mani was making a cake.
"I know we fr some chefs" lana cheesed.
I went in the back where the guys and Kayla was.
"y'all let's plan a trip" Tay said.
"where you wanna go?"
"I was thinking somewhere out of the country"
"What about Punta Cana?" Landen suggested
"That would be coo and we could rent an air bnb" Kayla said.
I nodded in agreement.
"Let's start planning it then"
We discussed dates and prices for a while before the girls brought our plates outside.
"Thanks baby" i said to lana
"you welcome"
They came back outside with their plates and sat down.
"So what y'all think about taking a trip?" Tay asked the girls
"Where?" Kiyah asked
"A surprise, but would y'all want to go?"
"yesss" they all said at the same time.
"ight"
We ate and talked for a while before we went inside.
Lana wanted to come to my house so we grabbed our things and said our goodbyes.
We were in the car listening to old Drake when she turned the music down and faced me.
"you good?" i looked over at her
"yeah i was just thinking about how we never told each other about our parents." she said
"I guess it just never came up" i shrugged
"do you want to talk about them?"
I nodded
"okay i'll go first" she said
"My mom is never here because she travels for work a lot, we don't have a bad relationship, but it's hard to have one when she's never here you know" she said and i nodded.
"and i never knew my dad. When my mom told him she was pregnant he fell off the grid and she never heard from him again. So most of my life it's just been me and Kiyah"
"I know it's rough not having a dad" i said
"My mom is still alive, we had an argument and haven't talked lately, but we did have a good relationship before that" i said and she nodded.
"and my dad been locked up since i was 2" i said.
"do you go visit him?"
"sometimes, but i feel like he use me for my money a lot" i said.
"you should fix things with your mom" she said making me think.
"you right. i do miss her. Maybe i'll go see her this weekend" i said
"you should" she said.
for the rest of the ride we just listened to music and enjoyed each other's company.

Solana and lana the next day
"I wanna drink" i said and everyone laughed at me.
Everyone was at Kamarion's house.
"why y'all laughing i'm deadass" i mugged
"I got vodka in my purse you betta mix that with that strawberry lemonade in there" Mani said and pulled out the vodka
"Thanks sis" I went to get up and Kamarion snatched it out my hand.
"Naw cause the last time you was drinking you was kissing girls and shit"
I rolled my eyes.
"Nigga i was drinking alcohol straight. I'm mixing it and it's not gonna get me drunk" i snatched it out his hands.
I went in the kitchen and pulled out the strawberry lemonade out the fridge.
I poured it in a wine glass and added a little vodka. I put sugar on the rim of the glass to make it look fancy. I walked back in the living room and sat on the couch.
"this bitch" Kiyah said laughing
"i'm fancy like that" i said and did the period motion.
"This good asfk" i drank my drink.
I felt Kamarion mugging me
"Dude i barely put any vodka in there chill out" i laughed.
"i'm finna go make me one. you want one kiyah?" mani asked asked and kiyah nodded.
"y'all is a trip" Tay said
Wasn't nun better to do.
