SARAH'S POV-

I grasped my mug gently, taking small sips of my hot chocolate. Once Anna had calmed me down she wrapped me in a blanket and given me a warm hot chocolate. I loved this girl. I'd just finished telling her everything that had happened and she had sat there the whole way through, letting me pour my heart out to her. She didn't try and tell me that everything would be alright she just said "I'm sorry," which is just what I needed now.

"You should get some sleep," she tells me.

"I'll try," I tell her, lying down on her bed. I felt her leave the bed and sit at her desk, finishing the work she'd been doing earlier.

I closed my eyes and thought about everything that had happened. I'd finally snapped at Dan but I still couldn't believe that my mum didn't defend me. Love really must make you blind.

I checked my phone again and didn't even have any messages or missed calls. They couldn't care less whether I was safe or not, they didn't even know I was alright.

Eventually my eyes started to feel heavy and I fell asleep.
