“Luke!” I grin, wrapping my free arm around him.

“I missed you!” he smiles.

“I missed you too!” he grins.

I open the door, and he follows me inside. I grab us something to drink, and we sit down on the couch.

“How was Montana?” I ask.

“It was really different, but it was amazing. We all need to take a trip up there sometime in the future,” he smiles.

“Sounds like a plan,” I grin.

I put Chloe down for a nap and return to the living room.

“Have you spoken to Ricky?” Luke asks.

“Not once. I just can’t believe he hasn’t asked about the kids,” I frown.

“Such a dick thing to do. I swear, he makes me want to punch him,” Luke chuckles.

“Well, I wouldn’t. That man is pretty strong,” I giggle.

“Chase will be back in three days,” Luke grins.

“Paige will be gone for another 6,” I frown.

“You miss her huh?” he asks.

“I miss her like crazy!” I giggle.

“Hey guys!” mom grins, stepping into the house.

“Hey Mrs. Manders,” Luke smiles.

“Luke! You’re back,” she grins.

“Sure am,” he smirks.

“How was Montana?” My mom asks.

“It was great,” Luke says.

“Mom, can you watch the twins tonight so Luke and I can hang out?” I ask.

“Sure thing,” she smiles, walking into the twins’ room.

“Where should we go?” I ask Luke.

“Wanna go to Applebees?” he asks.

“Yes! Sounds perfect. I love there brownie sundaes,” I grin.

I grab a coat and Luke and I get inside his car.

“I’ve missed you so much. You don’t know how lonely I’ve been since all three of you went on vacation. I’m glad Ezra and Jesse were here to keep me company,” I grin.

“I really want to take a vacation. Just the four of us, and maybe Ezra could come along,” he grins.

“Maybe I could get mom to watch the twins for a few days. I don’t know if she would be up to it. I could probably try to get ahold of Ricky’s parents, but I’ve never his mom before,” I frown.

“You’ve never met her? Hasn’t she watched the twins before?” Luke asks.

“Ricky always took them over there. I never had the time,” I say.

“You think his parents would watch them?” he asks.

“I doubt they would mind,” I smile.

We pull up to Applebees and Luke puts his arm around me in a friendly way as we make our way inside.
