Evelyn's POV•

Its been two weeks since I've Kendra,no texts no calls,she went silent,its getting on my nervous i don't like to get worried especially for someone i really care about,let alone love

My hall is getting filled with students,almost leaving a couple of places empty,i spot a familiar hazelnut pair and smiled seeing her doing a little wave at me

"Take a pen out everyone,we have a quick Quiz"i winked at her knowing she  didn't quiet have the time to study,so it was a way of me to get have her alone after class nothing of what you have in mind

I clear my throat taking the stack out of my drawer"pass them around ,you guys have 35 minutes to finish it"i announced"time is money"i clapped my hands sitting back in my desk

Writing my last report for this semester ,including the stealing of glances her way she seems so focused while scribbling on her paper

I mean i dont give them alot of assignments but when i do they are heavy and duplicated three times to guaranty the whole grade

I dont plan on being a cold bitch who makes their college life a living hell,like most of the professors do,its probably why i have a full hall

Checking the time its already passed 35minutes so i stand off of my chair,leaning on the desk watching as most of them scribble faster

I sighed hearing my phone buzz in my drawer i take the call casually since its Adam

"Sweetie i just wanted to let you know,ive took keva from her school and were headed to have some ice cream"i heard her giggle in the background

I smiled happily"sugar puff,thanks for doing that i was really swamped that i forgot about it"

"Girl dont mention it im her god father ya know,i have to make my own presence"he exclaimed i know hes smirking without the need to see his face

"Okay i gotta go,i'll see you home"i said ending the call and looking at their worried faces,i sigh again

"Don't worry everyone you guys will pass my class,its a miracle,now cheer up before i change my mind"i half yelled since the class is quiet

Well the bell ringed by the time it stoped i had a good amount to grade"were watching a documentary for today,i expect you to give me back a full  report on it,i want it done by the next class"wich was next week so its a lot of time im spoiling them way too much

Whines are hearable too clearly but i just ignored it"kill the lights" and i started it as the class went silent

Half way in the documentary a message lights up my phone screen

"I missed you" she said in her text i read it and left it on purpose to tease her

After it a couple of them fluid in a matter of seconds,i throw my phone in the drawer,focusing on my laptop again

"See you guys next week,do your reports or you'll actually fail my class"i threatened with a stern tone as they leave my class ,knowing it'll get to them where its needed

Kendra's POV•

Fuck fuck fuck, i think she's mad at me for disappearing for two weeks,actually two weeks and three days precisely

I obviously didnt think it through and just went for my catch,i had to clear the air from anyone following me,just to make sure she'll be safe around me

My nervous are playing my actions pretty badly,my feet wont stop tapping on the floor,the weird feeling in my stomach that I've spent so long without having disturbed me

Am i afraid to lose her

No way in hell i was,afraid of that,it always was easy to let people leave my life,but it's different with her

I stayed behind waiting fir the hall to clear ,its already passed 12 her last class ,it means i have time

Slowly walking towards her,she looked annoyed but i couldn't read her well enough to know why or how

Her eyes land on mine and they soften quickly"did i do something wrong,i mean i know i basically ghosted you but,it was for a good thing"i babbled feeling my blood pressure getting high

She narrows her eyes at me pressing her lips together as the ends of her lips twitch slightly"what is it...please talk to me so i can fix it"i whined like a little kid that couldn't find his toy

As i held back my tears,she beelined her desk standing before me,she extended her arms for me but i hesitated to hug her

"Hey..theres nothing broken to need fixing"she said in my ear she pulls back"i love you and nothing is going to change that"

"You had me from day one"i said tucking loose strands of hair

"I did"she asks confused i nod clearing my throat

"Since the day you moved next to us,you had me and my heart,you actually invaded my brain to the point i sleep dreaming of being wrapped in your arms,and i can finally do that until i die"

"Don't you dare die on me jerk"she pinched my arm

"Ouch,abusive much"i giggled rubbing my arm"can i take you out tonight,please don't say no"i gave her the best puppy eyes

She rolls her eyes"fine,i wont mind to"

I do a little excitement leap,and reach in capturing her lips in a long kiss"i'll pick you up at nine,okay"she nods biting her bottom lip i aggressively kiss her again"don't bite them,their only for me to bite"i pull her lip

She chuckles"remind me to do it more"she said on my lips

Her body in a beautiful dark red dress  hugging her curves too well,i couldn't stop smiling seeing her walking elegantly to me

"God you look breathtaking as always"i support her in a little twirl before opening the door for her

Every time i see her my heart skips a beat im glad to finally have her,we go to a restaurant and have dinner the casual us time,and we decide to see a little performance in the park

We danced a little surrounded by random people from each side,as we walked hand in hand she tucked on my blazer even more because of the cold

I guess i have to do it now or shell freeze to death,standing infront of a big ads screen,i nod knowing jess is watching

"Look"i motion to the screen 'i love you and ill forever love you,will you be mine,so i could call you my girlfriend' it said okay jess made it too cheesy but i got on one knee yes its not a marriage proposal but still

She turns back at me,covering her mouth"are you kidding"she said i shook my head no and she closed her eyes"oh my god,i cant imagine saying no"

"So its a yes"i ask to confirm

"Jesus yes Kendra"i stand up sliding a promise ring in her finger gently kissing her knuckles"im not done yet"i said taking her hand in mine as we enter the building straight to the elevator

"Its not much but i wanted to make a little change"we enter the simple green house on the roof,a movie is set and a big pillow sat in front of the screen,its warm for her to cool down

Music played in the background"Dance with me"i offer my hand,which she takes after taking the blazer off

"Thank you for choosing to be with me ken,you fill my heart beautifully"she kisses me blowing out a satisfied sigh from my lips

We watch the movie as were eating pizza and cuddling under a blanket,i feel relieved and happy,i get to spend as much time with her without watching my six,i never wanted her to get mixed up with what i do

The end is a week away and i cant wait to be free again,i am damaged but she sees me otherwise in a way none ever looked at me in ,she makes me feel whole and happy

Feelings i missed to feel in such a long time
