I rubbed my eyes and heard the cell door click open. Moments later I was out, running holding on to Freya's hand. We ran through the valley all the way home. Glimmer was sitting at the table, her face red and knuckles white. "Fayla? Freya?" She said when she saw us. We sat together the whole afternoon, happy until mom got an idea. "Maybe you should go to school, they have excellent security." Said Glimmer. "No thanks." I said, wrinkling my nose. Glimmer frowned and I knew that this wasn't the end of it.
A few short days later, Glimmer broke the news. "I signed you up for foxfire. You'll be in level one, and Freya in level six." I ran away, fuming. Starting school with all of these new people. Then a face flashed up in my mind. It was that guy that visited my family with his friends from foxfire. His name was Damen or something? Anyway he was pretty nice. I think. I kinda yelled. I lay on my bed, pondering what was to come.
