Something in the rain

Namjoon's POV

Later that night.. I heard my wife groaning in sleep. It was raining cats and dogs outside. I think she's having a nightmare. I tried to sleep again but she didn't stop groaning. I woke up to check on her.

She was sweating pretty bad.. I went closer and tried to listen what she was saying.

She.. she was calling her ex-husband's name. She was trying to hold something in the air..

I hold her hand.. tapped on her head. She started relaxing. Her breathing got stable. I stayed like that for a while and I looked at her belly. It was round. That's my baby.. I can't help it..I really want to feel my baby. I put my hand on her belly. It was the best feeling. This is the first time I'm touching my baby after I kissed her that day. Suddenly I felt a kick. Was it really a kick? Or am I just imagining? Suddenly I got another kick. I couldn't express that feeling. It felt like my baby wants to talk to me.

I leaned forward.. 'Hey buddy.. this is your daddy. It's been so long since I talked to u... I wonder if you knew my voice. Sorry my love. Appa couldn't talk to you a lot. But, I want to tell you something...You are the reason of my life. I forgot what was the reason for my life so far but now only you, your mother and your brother are the reason why I am living. Can't wait to meet you baby.. pls be good to your eomma.. she loves you a lot and she lost a lot of things for you.. Be good to her. I really wish we could welcome you as a couple but even if we weren't together you would be loved so dearly. Love you sweetheart." I blew some kisses. I don't know when will I get to talk to my baby again.

Once I confirmed that she slept again I tried to release my hand but she was holding it pretty tight.

So I stayed there with her. I knew I was pretending like her ex husband to make her sleep. Somewhere deep down I felt jealous of him.. she still loves him. Will she ever love me like she loves him. I fell asleep after a long time.

Next day I woke up to some whispering sounds and found this

Tae, Jimin and Jungkook were taking pictures. Once I realised what was happening. I started to panic. I stood up immediately and pushed everyone out. Even I came outside.

Thank god she didn't wake up or else I can't even imagine her reaction.

"Hyung.. your plan has succeeded it seems" Tae said.

"Noooo.. no.. she was having nightmares and I was consoling her but she didn't let go off my hand so I fell asleep like that".

"That is some solid reason" kook said

"Yah... I'm serious.. but what you 3 were doing in our room?"

"Our room?" "Ohhhh" the boys cooed and looked at each other.

I started chasing after them.

Y/N POV

Flash back

I was having nightmares. My body was trembling and I was panting. My husband was going far away I couldn't hold him.. he was going away.. finally I got his hand. My body stopped trembling and I could breath normally. After some time I heard a voice.
"Hey buddy.. this is your daddy. It's been so long since I talked to u... It's been so long since I talked to u... I wonder if you knew my voice. Sorry my love. Appa couldn't talk to you a lot. But, I want to tell you something that you are the reason of my life. I forgot what was the reason for my life so far but now only you, your mother and your brother are the reason why I am living. Can't wait to meet you baby.. pls be good to your eomma.. she loves you a lot and she lost a lot of things for you.. Be good to her. I really wish we could welcome you as a couple but even if we weren't together you would be loved so dearly. Love you sweetheart" Namjoon was talking to the baby. I was shocked but I didn't want to react because that would be awkward. I could understand why he's here. It must be because of my nightmare. Slowly he touched my belly. I didn't like it but still I knew I was keeping father and the baby away for so long. I didn't want to interrupt their bonding time so I continued pretend asleep. But deep down even I felt somewhat safe after a long time. I needed that warmth. I fell asleep eventually.

I woke up next morning and found Namjoon next to me. I jumped a little. It took some time for me to realise the situation. He was sleeping so peacefully. His hand was holding my belly.

I don't know what has gotten into me for a second. I wanted to touch his sleeping face.

I can't believe my thoughts. This person right here is my husband now?
He threatened me to marry him. He is a very bad person but still I couldn't hate him. He takes care of y/s/n so well.. He is literally treating him as his own. But, I couldn't accept this life. I feel like I am cheating on my husband. I feel guilty. Thinking of all these my hand was about to touch his cheek. I heard someone knocking lightly. I stopped what I was doing and pretend asleep.

The Maknaes were entered the room. They gasped at the sight. My god this is so embarrassing.

They started taking pictures too. I feel like I'm dying out of embarassment.

But thank fully Namjoon woke up. I could feel his shock reaction. It took some time for him to realise what was happening. Finally he understood the situation and dragged them out along with him.

Phew... That was close.. I should not feel this way.. I should avoid him hereafter at any cost.. but can I do that???
