It's been six weeks. Today your husband is gonna take you to the hospital..
*Time skip* You both were waiting outside of the the doctor's room.
Mrs.Y/H/N? Nurse called you after an eternity..
You raised your hand and went inside.
The doctor asked you to lie down on the bed.
She applied some gel on the transducer probe. She placed the probe on your stomach.
Geez 🥶🥶.. that gel is so freaking cold 😖😖
She asked you to look at the monitor

You quickly turned your head to other side not wanting to see the baby.
You wiped the gel and get dressed.
Doctor: "congratulations.. The baby's growth is good. Is this your second baby?
Y/N:."Yes doctor".
Doctor: "ok I will prescribe some folic acid and multi vitamin tablets for your next check up.."
Y/H: "doctor we.. we wanna abort this child"
Your husband sounded very low.. even he is not happy with this.. He won't even eat meat. It's hard for him to do this.
Doctor: "what, why? The baby is healthy.. why do you wanna do that."
Y/H: "we are not ready for a second child yet"
Doctor: "sorry sir.. but with all due respect.. you should have been careful. I have been seeing so many patients who are dying to have a baby.. but .I am sorry.. it's your call anyways." She looked at you and asked "do you wanna do this"
You looked at her and said "yes" with tearing eyes.
Doctor:"ok.. if that's what you both want, pls book an appointment with the nurse"
"Thanks doctor"
You both left the consultation room.
You booked the appointment. Since one of the appointment was canceled on the last minute, you got the tomorrow's slot.
You reached the home and fell on the bed.
Your husband is playing with your son in the living room.
You curled up into a ball and slept.
You woke up and look at the time.. it's 2.30 Pm.
You got up and went to the living room.
"Amma I drew this.. I drew you, Appa and me"
You caressed his cheeks and pick him up.
You husband is working something in his office laptop.
You decided to give your son a bath.
You set the water and started washing him.
He was playing with his bath time buddies ducks, penguins ,sharks and etc.
You asked him pointing a fish "who is this"
"Appa fish" he replied.
"And This?"
"Amma fish"
"This one?"
"Y/S/N fish"
You chuckled at him.
He took a small shark in his hand and told "this is baby fish"
Your smile faded away.
After the bath, you dried him and applied baby lotion.
You changed him into a nice warm onesie.
He is feeling sleepy after the warm bath.
You laid down next to him in his bed and started singing him a lullaby.
"A B C D E F G.."
That's right that's his favourite lullaby.
Even you fell asleep next to him.
*Time skip* That night your husband came to you and said "Let me know the required items for tomorrow. I will help you with the packing".
Y/N: "do we have to do this? Let's keep this child "
Y/H: "babe.. it's already very hard for me. I'm barely keeping up with everything. Please don't make it any worse for me. I beg you. I can't live with that. Let's get it done and move on with our life"
You didn't say anything after that and went to bed crying.
At midnight you could hear your husband's sobbing.
You are also crying. Your eyelids became heavy and you drifted off to sleep.
After few hours....
You had a nightmare about your son.
You woke up panting heavily. It's 4am.
You look to your side. your son is sleeping next to you and your husband sleeping next to him.
You quickly hugged him and kissed his forehead and stayed in that position for a long time.
When you try to sleep again..
You can't help but compare your son with the fetus.
It's killing you..
It feels like you are killing your son.
Even though this child was not made out of love. It's still a child.. your child..
How can you kill your own child who can't do anything on his own.😭😭
