If he could turn back time to that moment he would. That moment replayed in his mind over and over again like a broken record. Was it the last thing he said that continuously made him feel like it was his fault or was it losing you that made that sickly feeling waver over his body, over and over again. Memories weren't enough for him anymore. Memories of the past that he held above everything else, memories of a time not so long ago where he could hold you in his arms as the two of you laughed nights aways. Simple things he did with you he could no longer do, those things he missed and begged for them to return to him, though the incident prevented this.

He remembered a time not so long ago, you sat upon the bench handing him his tools while he stood close by fiddling with his science project. He remembered you sitting there smiling though the sun was in your eyes, blinding you for the moment but yet you were still as beautiful as ever.

'Senku...'

Your voice in his memory was fading. He couldn't remember it as much as he could though he always knew it made him smile at how sweet and soft you would say his name though you were only saying it due to the fact you were hungry beyond all belief. That memory faded and a new one began to entangle his mind.

You were sitting in his lap as the two of you sat upon his bed, he remembered you showing something on your phone but he couldn't remember what exactly it was. He remembered the sound of your laugh and your eyes as you turned your head to stare upon him. He remembered you moving into him, your lips against his, he remembered the feeling of butterflies but he couldn't remember what your lips felt like.

The memories disappeared for a moment, Senku glared around the four bland walls. Memories had nothing on the real thing, though that was one of the only fragments he still had left of you. If he could he would trade places with you in a heartbeat, if he could have stopped the incident somehow he would have just to keep you in his arms knowing you're safe and sound. He wanted so badly to return to much simpler times, when you would lay upon his body asleep in one of his shirts, your head placed in the nook of his head as he placed continuous kisses upon your cheek. He loved how your soft snores would tickle his ear, how your lips parted in a grin when you always had a good dream. Everything about you was perfect, from your head to your toes. Everything about you he loved beyond belief.

As his eyes gazed upon your unconscious body he wanted to wake you out of the coma so badly though he knew he wouldn't be able to. Senku's hand grazed upon your limp one, holding it tightly he placed a few kisses on it like he would when the two of you sat in science class utterly bored out of your minds. Your coma wasn't his fault but if he was there that night he could save you. He stared upon your pale face, lips dried and crack with their usual bright pink colour fading for the most part. He missed you so badly, he missed how you could light up a room just by being in it, he missed your usual chirpy voice as you would call his name through the hallways before you hugged him from behind. He missed when you would take his lab coat from him and wear it around school like you were some fabulous scientist that knows everything and anything.

A memory loop of you came to his mind, he remembered when you were sick, your body was frail and the mountain of tissues that laid beside you made him realise just how sick you were. Yet though you were sick the continuous smile played upon your lips, he loved that about you. He remembered that same day, you were laying in his lap as the two of you watched the animal channel, he knew you loved it and though it didn't appeal to him he knew you loved the animals a lot, which he got thanks from u by a kiss which inturn made him as sick as a dog so the two of you ended up sick together.

He missed everything about it but he knew you were as good as gone. You had been in a coma for almost a few weeks by now and it wasn't getting any easier for the boy to deal with it. As much as he didn't want to live with it he knew science wasn't going to be able to bring you back anytime soon. He regretted saying three important words to you once more, those words being 'I love you.', he regretted many things but that was the only one that would haunt him for the rest of his life.
