--- Your Point of View ---

You and Thor were sitting at the shoreline and were eating huge plates of food, you realized that yes the Asgard had lots of food that was easy to prepare.

You got a lot of odd looks but no one asked questions of why you were there. You were eating some kind of large sandwich, potatoes and broccoli with cheese - the heavy metal plate was overfilled.

It took you a long while to find something to drink that didn't have any alcohol, finally finding two bottles of water.

"You look like you are enjoying your food."

You could hear the humor and joy in Thor's voice at this, he seemed to be happy that he was able to make you happy.

"I was and am hungry, but this is so much food I know I am not going to be able to finish it... are you going to tell Bucky who I am?"

He took a deep drink of his beer and gave you a very speculative and thoughtful look.

"No, because regardless of the people you are associated with, I don't think you or the other Reaper's really can do us any harm..."

Personally you thought he was underestimating your group, that aside you saw that he was struggling not to add something. You waited for him to continue, but he didn't add anything.

"Is there something else Thor?"

He set down his food and turned to face you.

"You do know when Bucky finds out about who you really are... never mind... I just think you should distance yourself from him." He stammered.

You narrowed your eyes at him and took another bite of your sandwich.

"Why do I have a feeling there is something huge you are not telling me?"

He shook his head, but you could read the guilt on his face.

"I don't think Bucky is a threat to me, regardless of who I am."

"I hope you are right and Loki is wrong..." Thor said that offhandedly and muttered it, you choked on your food.

"What?"

"Nothing... have you ever thought of joining the Avengers? Be with the good guys instead?"

You laughed taking a deep sip of your water - looking around and appreciating just how beautiful this area was - it was nice to get away for a while. The air was cool and you could smell the salt air.

"Nice change of subject."

--- Bucky's Point of View ---

I woke up with a start when there was a crack of thunder, it shook the whole building and it was jarring enough to wake me up making me fall off the damn couch.

Looking outside I saw that Thor had landed right in the parking area.

I looked at the time on my phone, struggling to turn it on - I fucking hated 2020's technology. I gasped when I saw it was 1 in the morning.

Why the hell had he kept her there so late?

I stood up and using my super soldier speed I made my way to them in seconds.

He had his arms still wrapped around her and she was gently laughing, he was a bit taller than me and strong and I found myself wanting nothing more than to get him away from her.

Her eyes moved and she looked at me shock on her face.

"Bucky, what are you still doing here?"

"Waiting for you, come on doll - it's late, I need to get you home."

I moved forward to remove her from his arms, turning his back and blocking me he gently pushed her forward and opened her car door - basically shoving her in.

"I think she can get herself home." He said over his shoulder before turning his attention back to her. "Get in and drive home love...you need to get some sleep."

She nodded and obeyed Thor, quickly getting in her car and starting it she drove away.

Thor turned to face me, lighting still coming off of him.

"You shouldn't have just taken her like that. She's kinda spoken for already buddy." I growled narrowing my eyes at him.

He let out a very mocking laugh and put a hand on my shoulder, his movements letting me know he was just as strong as I was.

"I don't see your name on her James."

My eyes narrowed at his use of my first name.
