"Every other place has rejected me," he said, which wasn't surprising to her since it was just a kid.

"And why do you think they did that?" as she wanted to get through his brain.

"B-Because I'm young a-and i-inexperienced and-" Izuku hesitated to say the last bit and the lady was impressed that he was aware of his own qualities, but she was interested in what else he had to say. "I-I'm quir-quirkless," he said, which shocked her.

She was left stumped, unsure what to do next. "Tell you what, do you have a phone number I can call? I'll call that number to tell you whether you got a job or not." which made Izuku excited as he pulled out his notebook and ripped an empty page and wrote his house phone number. He left afterward, feeling happy.

"Are you really considering hiring him? He's just a kid." one of the movers asked.

"There must be a reason why he was so desperate to find a job." she then waited a few more seconds before exiting herself. She looked around to see where the boy went and saw his green highlights.

She trailed him all the way to a hospital, which made her even more curious.

"How has nobody stopped her? It's a grown adult following a little boy." Awase asked, being the realist.

"People are ignorant. People ignore their surroundings, focusing only on what they choose to focus on, and are only aware of things from the media. Whether the news is true or false, they accept it as their truth." JJ answers.

"What's the point of telling the employers what quirk you have?" Tetsutetsu questions.

"If any fuss goes around and it's related to your quirk, they know who to blame." Aizawa answers.

"Yikes. Now I'm glad I'm in the hero course." Hagakure said as she probably would have been blamed for many things due to her invisibility.

She followed him all the way to his mother's room. She couldn't hear what they were saying but she saw the boy talking to a frail-looking woman.

"Excuse me." she called out to one of the nurses "Is there anything you can tell me about that boy?" she questions.

"That boy's mother contracted some unknown illness that's deteriorating her health. She's using the best medical equipment we have to alleviate the symptoms while we do some more studying." the nurse noted.

"What about the father?" she questions further.

"He's currently missing." the nurse added, which made her shocked, and thanked the nurse.

She went home that day, exhausted by the new information she learned. While she was emptying her pockets, she felt the paper that had Izuku's house phone on it. She pondered what she should do before she decided that it didn't matter and gave the number a call.

"H-Hello?" Izuku questioned.

"Hello there. This is the lady you spoke to before, the one with the long black ponytail. I'm here to ask you what hours you are available?" she then heard Izuku sounding so cheery and excited.

After she wrote down the hours, she thanked him and told him to meet her tomorrow to discuss what his job entails. Once the phone call ended, she washed up and went to bed, turning her head to face a picture of what looked like a younger version of her and another unknown boy.

The next day, Izuku met up with the lady after school

"Nice to meet you, I'm Asami(FamilyName) Mayumi(FirstName). You may call me Asami-san." She then told him that he'll be an assistant in moving inventory, cleaning, throwing away trash, etc. But the condition she had was that he was not allowed to be in the area with the stage while working and he must enter and exit through the back entrance. Izuku agreed and waited for his shift to start.
