The water bender approached the island, she sighed. She saw her son and his girlfriend, "Mother, are you okay?" He asked, she wiped her tears and nodded.
"I'm glad that you two are here, I appreciate it." She smiled, they nodded. She then went to the stand, a lot of people were there watching. "Good morning, citizens of Republic City." She started, a few cheers went around. She sighed, her youngest son looked at her. She looked at him, tears in her eyes. "As you may be aware Avatar Aang, my husband, passed away last night. Yes, we lost a great Avatar but we gained an amazing one I'm sure. Now, when I tell you I didn't want to this speech." She laughed nervously, "Thank you." She then went, as the statue came in the view.
"It doesn't look much like him." The now last air bender said, his girlfriend nodded.
"Yeah, it doesn't look much like Uncle Twinkle Toes." She joked with the nickname, the two held back tears. "You okay, Tenzin?" She questioned, he nodded.
"Yeah, fine." He smiled through the tears, so did his mother.
