this is what i think happened when katara and aang told the gaang theyre a couple and after those events after sokka canonically walked in on them kissing from aangs pov :)
I look at the girl that I just kissed, she looks at me. "So..." I say, "So." She says also, I laugh. "Does this mean?" I gesture with my hands 'jazz hands', she laughs. "It means whatever you want it to mean." She says, "Alright-y, how is my beautiful girlfriend?" I ask, she blushes. She then pulls me into a hug, "I'm good, how's my cutesy boyfriend?" She asks me, "Good!" I tell her, "So, do you wanna tell them or?" She wonders, "Okay, let's tell them!" I tell her, she nods smiling like me.
We walk in, hand in hand, and everyone is busy. I look at my girlfriend then clear my throat, everyone looks at me. "I have something to announce!" I say, everyone looks excited. I begin, "Me and K-" I get interrupted, "WE KNOW!" My earth bending teacher says, "What?" My girlfriend asks, "Yeah, in fact when I was chasing after you I already thought you were a couple." My fire bending teacher says, "Oh-" I mention, "Anyway, congratulations Avatar." The adult says, I smile.
