"GIOVANNI." I hissed.

"Gabriella." He paused, raising one eyebrow. "Why aren't I surprised?" I say as Giovanni smirks. Our feet shuffle to the slow rhythmic classic Spanish music. "You don't seem very happy seeing me Ms. Sangriento."

He's different in a good way. His body is more muscular and his hair is darker and an inch longer than before. His scent intoxicates me causing my legs to be weak.

His black and dark red macramé lace mask complimented his honey eyes.

Dirty thoughts of us flood my mind. I immediately push them back and try to stay focused.

I must say I knew something wasn't right when they announced he was dead. You can't get rid of Giovanni that easily, especially by a pathetic girl but on the other hand, I'm surprised he pulled this off. Am I glad that he isn't dead?

Yes, because now I can kill him myself but for now I need his help with something. This is so dumb, what I'm about to do is dumb.

The tension between us grew each time we took a step. Staring into his beautiful honey orbs I pressed my body against his.

His jaw clenched as he tightened his grip around my waist. "And why would I be pleased to see you after you faked your death." I seethed. He chuckled darkly. "I didn't fake my death." He informed me. I slightly narrowed my eyes. "I made you think I was dead. If I were to fake my death, why would I be here and it wouldn't be so quiet back in Italy? Other gangs would go to war to see who would be victorious over my gang." He stated.

He leaned in closer. "To you I was dead but with others, I was just in hiding." He pulled his face away from mine and our pace quickened as the music's pace went faster. It was starting to get difficult to keep up with the quick-flowing steps.

My dress was getting in the way and my heels were causing my steps to be clumsy. Or maybe it's the fact that I couldn't accept that Giovanni finally had the upper hand.

He smirked as he noticed my discomfort and changed his stance to make it easier for me to move. His grip tightened on my hands.

"While you were busy running around like a headless chicken I was busy focusing on my gang, our shipments have increased at a high rate and some of your best buyers are now coming to me. Slowly I'm defeating you and you haven't realized it yet."

"I've learned from the best." He winked.

He spun me again but this time we changed partners. The guy caught my hand and we moved at a slow pace to follow the rhythm of the song.
