Merlin was busy doing who knows what and I was talking with Jules.

Gaius walks back into the room.

I open my mouth

"Please, don't say anything, Olivia," Gaius says, walking to us.

"I was going to do no such thing," I say

"One of you were going to say 'I told you so'" Gaius states.

"Okay, I was" I chuckle.

"But we aren't any more" Merlin replies.

Gaius sits down "Uther didn't take it well."

"Now, you see, I told you..." Merlin says

Gaius glares at Merlin.

"Sorry," Merlin says

"Well I'm gonna say it, We told you so," Jules says.

"But I know him, Olivia, Merlin, Jules. He's a proud man, but he's not stupid." Gaius says. "He'll reflect on what I said. I'm sure he will."

"Let's hope you're right," I say

The next day Gaius was called to the courtroom for something or other.

A little later, he walks in and starts pacing.

"Its no good Merlin, Olivia. I can tell him she's a troll till I'm blue in the face, he won't listen." Gaius says. He sees a charming, beautiful woman" Gaius says

"Yeah, with a body like a tree trunk," Merlin says

I laugh at Merlin's statement.

"But we only know that because you two saw her in troll form." Gaius states.

"So what do we do?" I ask "Have you met Uther?"

"We must open Uther's eyes. Show her for what she really is." Gaius says, resting next to Merlin and me on the table.

"Using magic?" Merlin asks

"It's the only way to reveal her true form," Gaius says

"But she never leaves him," I say

"I know,"  Gaius says

He looks at us.

"You want us to use magic in front of the king?" I ask

"Yes, Olivia, I do," Gaius says

"And you say we are irresponsible," I say

Merlin stands up "We'd never get away with is."

"I'm sorry, Merlin, Olivia. I know how dangerous this is. But we cannot allow her to gain any further control over the king. Who knows what the consequences might be," Gaius states.

Merlin nods "Just one problem. We know nothing about troll magic."

Gaius walks to a bookshelf, grabs a few books and puts them down on the table in front of us.

"Then we have work to do," Gaius says.

We were paging through the books the whole day, Gaius had fallen asleep, and I was snoring. I had my head on Merlin's shoulder while I page through another book.

Merlin sits up straight causing my head to fall off his shoulder.

"Here!" Merlin says

I look at the page he was on.

"The Spell of Revelation?" I read.

Merlin stands up and walks to Gaius, I follow.

"With which, the true nature of a thing may be revealed." Merlin reads.
