Unknown pov.

"He doesn't want to talk? Then kill him! I got no mercy on traitors!"

It's been two days since your small incident. Everything was forgotten. The memories you had while hurting. Yet Jungkook didn't let go of this. He forced you you stay home and to take care of your health. Volunteeringly, he had also willed to stay beside you until you recovered.

But the stubborn person you were you insisted to work. Jungkook couldn't help but accept it after hearing you whine every second. He had ordered though, that he would take care of you even while being in the office.

"Mr. Jeon! I answered your emails and got the paperwork done! Do you have anything else I need to take care of?"

"Yes. Sit beside me!", not even lifting his head to look at you, he had continued to sign his papers. You were puzzled.
You sat next to your boss, watching his arm moving while writing. His sleeve uncovered his bottom arm, making you gulp.

"Mr...Jeon? What am I supposed to do?"

"Watch me working!", Jungkook's words came out like bullets that shot from a gun. He was already prepared for such a simple question, "Are you okay?"

That's when he let his head free as he now looked at you with his big eyes, that you couldn't help but adore. His palm was touching your forehead, taking in your temperature.

"It's normal!"

How could you not fall for him when he was acting like a caring boyfriend?

"Is it? I thought I was burning...", for a moment you had forgotten whom you have talked to...

"What do you mean? Are you not feeling good?", your boss panicked, sitting at the verge of his office chair but your eyes literally pierced into his soul. There were no doubt anymore that you developed something for him that shouldn't be developing.

Coming back to your senses, you thought through your words, having your eyes widened from your own choice of terms.

"Ah no no! I am feeling pretty well, don't worry. I was just...I was just saying that because it is very warm and cozy here in your office!", your boss didn't seem to buy your excuse and smirked.

"I am sure it's that!", he said playfully, averting his attention to his work again while you closed your eyes, being mad at yourself.

You were someone who failed hiding her own feelings. For the better, you would even scream your feelings out to make yourself feel better and more at ease. In this situation though...this situation was different. On one hand you were afraid but on the other you weren't.

Afraid of losing him and not afraid to feel at ease.

"Mr. Jeon?"

"Hm?"

"Do you...still like her?", Jungkook immediately stopped moving his pencil and looked up to the main door of his office.

"Whom? Jessica?!", his head turned to your figure, his high pitched voice responding itself. You nodded as he only snickered.

"I don't even know if I liked her enough. Maybe I only started to stick to her because of my mother's desire of me getting married soon. No, I don't like her. I think I never did or else...I wouldn't let go so easily. Why? Why are you asking me this in the middle of work? I thought you separated private and business life...", your boss didn't sound disappointed, just curious.

"If you still liked her...I would feel bad", Jungkook frowned, officially letting go of his pen.

"W..Why?"
