Things didn't get a lot better.

When it was announced later that day that countryhuman rights were being restricted, that caused another fight between the pro-countryhuman people and the anti-countryhuman people. Protests out on the street happened up to the current day in the story– September 24.

And America was once again pissed.

He stood in the elevator, waiting for it to reach the ground floor. Amaerica predicted it would happen days ago. He knew what was going to happen, but despite that, he was still angry. He didn't want to be proven right. He wanted to be proven wrong.

Donald Trump had elected Amy Coney Barrett to take Ruth Bader Ginsburg's place.

What's so bad about Barrett? Well, for one, the Supreme Court would have a 6-3 court that was radically rightward and it hasn't been since RBG was sworn in during the 1970's, making it the most conservative court since then. Not only that, but Amy Coney Barrett is a woman who is anti-feminist among other things. She would work to erase what RBG worked for. For example, Barrett would most likely work to undo the reproduction rights set by RBG, which is disastrous because it would be disastrous for multiple reasons. Reproductive rights is more than just legal and safe abortions; it also encompasses things such as protection from female genital mutilation (FGM), check-ups for things like ovarian cancer and STDs, and reproductive education. This just the tip of the iceberg on why Barrett would be a bad Supreme Court judge.

So yeah, of course America would be mad.

He wanted to scream. He was already angry because of two things: Trump had announced that he would not commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he lost the election and because the officers responsible for the killing of Breonna Taylor weren't being charged with murder.

Refusal of a peaceful transfer was already bad. It won't do much to the transition. That just meant that if Trump lost the election, he would have to be physically removed from the White House should he choose to not leave on Inauguration day. However, image-wise on a global scale, it was bad. A president is supposed to be mature and respectful, and Trump not committing to a peaceful transition of power is anything but.

Now, the trial of Breonna Taylor's killers– Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove. Before the trial, the only action taken against the officers was the firing of Hankison. None of the officers were jailed, angering a portion of the nation, including America, all of whom demanded justice for Taylor. A day or two before the trial, Louisville was preparing for a riot before the trial, which meant the result of the trial was already decided before it actually took place. On September 23, the grand jury charged Brett Hankison with three counts of "wanton endangerment" for the shots that went through the neighbor's walls, putting them in potential danger, meaning Hankison was only charged for the shots that he missed. None of the officers were directly charged with the death of Breonna Taylor.

Justice wasn't guaranteed; it was a roll of the dice, weighted in your favour if you were part of the more "favourable" community.

How disgusting.

If the U.S. doesn't get their shit together soon, I'm definitely going to fracture, America thought bitterly. I am going to die.

The elevator dinged and America stormed out, wanting to go home and relax with his family. On his way out, he almost ran into Nigeria, Cameroon, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Yemen, who were all standing in a group. "Oh, hi, guys," he greeted them.

"Hola, America," Mexico responded tiredly. "Judging by all your stomping, I'm guessing you found out who that pendejo president nominated for RBG's position?"
