The Sibling Squad (Part 1)

Start from the beginning

Tim leaned over Damian to the older kryptonian over the table. "Welcome to the wonderful world of siblinghood, having fun?"

Damian shoved Tim out of his area.

"She didn't even say it! just drop it!" Dick argued.

"Okay, if you guys want to believe that..." Roy rolled his eyes a little.

"It's just True!"

"Stop being such a shit!"

"Why did you make this a thing? You know she didn't say it!"

"Yeah, okay you guys." Jason agreed sarcastically.

"Hey!" they turned to see the inferred dad pacing over. "What's wrong with you guys? we're starting again in five minutes, and you're stealing the crowds attention!"

"Roy's being a bitch!" Artemis whined to her mentor.

"Oh no." Oliver replied sarcastically. "I don't believe it."

"Artemis said you're her dad." Roy taunted.

"No I didn't! He's lying!"

"You said it though."

"No she didn't!"

"I mean, she implied it, even if it was an accident."

"you know she didn't! stop being assholes!"

"OKAY QUIT IT! You three go sit in the lobby until this is over!" Oliver snapped, today was frustrating enough.

"What? No fair!" Artemis complained.

"We were defending her." Conner said through grit teeth.

"And that doesn't mean you had to yell."

"Hey, hey." Jon shot up to stop Conner from tearing the place down. "I'll come down and see you guys in a minute."

"We'll kick you out too if we have any reason." Oliver told the remaining five. "Come on, grab your jackets." He told the teens, pointing to the door from the hotel's event hall. The three scowled and stalked out.

"So how are you coping with the new little brother?"

"He's great." Jon told them. "a bit much to handle sometimes." He muttered, hoping the frustration, and sound of the crowd would distract Conner's hearing. "But great!"

"Yeah, I mean, I put up with Jason as a little brother, and even he wasn't that fiery." Tim admitted. "You're doing a great job though. I don't know how you're so patient."

"Well, it's not like something else; he doesn't know any better." Jon defended. "He can't help it."

"You're too forgiving." Damian told him. "You can't keep pandering, or you're going to keep having this problem."

"I told you, I can't do that."  His boyfriend told him. "It wouldn't be fair to him."

"That's great, but you've only known each other like, a month." Jason said. "You're going to start fighting."

"I hope not."

"Is everything alright here?" Clark asked, stopping at the table on his way back to the stage . "Oliver told me K- Himself had another temper tantrum."

"I told you not to call them that, it makes him mad." Jon told his dad.

"Everything makes him mad."

"That's not fair."

"and it wasn't just him. He and Dick were backing Artemis." Tim explained. "It's nothing. She slipped up a little and didn't want to admit it."

"Alright, good." Clark told them. "Just make sure the three of them don't act up."

"Well, Ollie made the right choice sending them into the lobby where no one can watch them, and there's no pressure to stay still or be quiet..." Tim muttered cynically.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Heyy." Jason flopped on the velvet stairs to the lounge, flicking his Dick's ear, which started a small fight.

"Did you get kicked out too?" Artemis asked, kicking her leg out in a half-hearted attempt to trip Roy, who easily stepped over her

"Nah, we were just sent out to babysit. Because someone is a little shit!" Jason flipped off his brother.

"Honestly I baited him into sending us out." Tim admitted. "I was bored."

"Well WAY TO GO ASSHOLE! Now we have to stay out here."

"It's cool, we have games in the car, I can get some." Tim flipped out Bruce's car keys. No one needed to know how he got them.

"What kind of games?" Jon asked eagerly.

"Cards against humanity."

Jason whooped and pumped his fits. Conner frowned. "What's that? Why would you play AGAINST humanity?"

"It's just some edgy card game." Artemis said, she'd never played, but was weirdly intimidated by it.

"The BEST edgy card game." Roy corrected. "Get it! It beats freezing out here!"
