"Would you ever consider working for Lilac Valley?" Carter asks.
"Are you trying to recruit me Mr. Mayor?" Con asks.
"Interested?" he asks.
"I prefer the mean streets of New York," Con says.
"Why?" Carter asks. "They have better doughnuts than Lilac Valley? When things come to a head, I'm going to need you."
"I'm not giving up my salary and benefits," Con tells him.
"Maybe you'll change your mind," Carter says.
"You do need a better police force," Con says. "They can barely help kids cross the street."
