         War, it's never good for anyone. The Third Great Ninja War happened around the time when I was a little girl, I don't really have memories from it. I could recall my mother and father talking in the living room about it but it wasn't anything in particular. I do remember one thing from it, the emotion. The fear of not knowing if who was going to go out and return safely, or the trauma that you would get after it. I couldn't help but have such anxious feelings as I'm allowed to do nothing.

What was I doing? I was currently in my hospital room, doing absolute nothing. I couldn't sit still knowing that everyone was out fighting and I was just relaxing on a comfy cotton bed. This war has been happening for a hot minute now and I'm sure a lot has happened. I was healed and fully back to normal, I didn't need a walking stick anymore. I've had enough of this, I couldn't stand looking at this wall for another minute. I know that Lady Tsunade means well, but i've been sitting in this room since before the start of the war.

I sighed for like the tenth time today and sat on my bed, closing my eyes. A nap wouldn't hurt right?

" Y/n!" Iruka shouted busting through the door. I jumped up off the bed looking at him with startled eyes. " Lady Tsunade confirmed it, you gotta get to that battle field." Huh, ironic. I nodded as he left.

I quickly put on my jounin attire and gathered my gear. I tied my hair up in a ponytail as I left the hospital. Making my way towards the field I could feel my heart pound as I gripped the handle of my sword harder. I came to a stop as it came into view.

Alright y/n, just breath. This war won't be as bad as you think.

Jumping down to the hard ground, I could feel everyones eyes on me. I looked around to see the terrors of the battlefield, and- what the hell?! Is that fucking Ten Tails? Holy shit! It's huge! And the attack is coming right for us knocking down all the barriers that were once up.

Come on y/n! Think!

I saw Killer Be appear and try to hold the attack. I quickly started to form a ball of white fire and watched it grow bigger and bigger, pushing it forward it started to form some barrier. I struggled to push it as the heat grew hotter near my face. I could feel my arms waver when it suddenly vanished. The retract pressure of my fire caused me to go flying back as I quickly pulled out my sword and shoved it into the ground keeping me stable. I landed on my feet right near Sakura and Naruto.

" Y/n Sensei!" Naruto let out as I stood to my feet. " Your here?" I nodded my head as I walked over to them putting a hand on Sakura's shoulder with a reassuring smile.

Suddenly someone jumped down right in front of us. " Am I late?" I blinked my eyes confused at who this person was.

" Your right on time dad!" Naruto said smirking at the man. I looked at Sakura who was beyond confused.

" My name's Minato Namikaze. Brace for an impending explosion." A big boom was heard towards the water far out. My eyes widened as he turned around. " I sent the attack towards the ocean." Only now did I catch his eyes, the Reanimation Justsu?

" Who are you?" Sakura questioned narrowing her eyes.

" Relax, I'm an ally." I watched as Minato's eyes grazed over Naruto and Sakura. " Are you... Naruto's girlfriend?" I couldn't help but giggle as Naruto happily agreed till Sakura smacked him upside his head. I could see the sweat dropping from his face at the sight.

" Alright come on, finish healing him. And Naruto you better be careful out there, don't make me march through all of this to find you because I will." The sound of Naruto's groan was cut out by a cough. I felt it hit me in realization as Minato's eyes caught mine. His eyes squinting at me, telling me he needed a moment to recognize me. " M-Minato Sensei!" I called out as I jumped out towards him. I quickly golfed him into a tight hug as my eyes teared up a bit.
