Shame

No matter where you go or what you have done, I want you to know that I have covered you. I cover your shame and give you a new life to shine for me. I cover your guilt and give you grace; I wrap you in my arms and say you are my pure and beautiful daughter. I don’t want my girl carrying guilt or shame. When you ask me, “your father,” to forgive you, I cast your sins in the sea of forgetfulness and remember them no more. You are free, my princess--now embrace you new life and soar!

Love,
Your God and Your Covering

"Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth...." - Isaiah 54:4 (NLT)
