Esme set our food down in front of us. Nessie is one one side of me, while Carter's on my other side.
Every Cullen watched us while we ate. I look up. " Could you guys be any creepier. Why don't you guys just sit down? " I point to the empty chairs across from me.
" Nah. " Jasper says while looking at his fellow vampires. " We're just fine watching you guys. "
We continue eating.
After dinner, Esme and Carlisle get ready to drive Carter home. I pull Carter outside. " I'm sorry for today. My family is crazy. I'm sorry this is probably the weirdest day you've ever had. "
I blush and look down at my shoes. " Today was interesting. Thank you for dinner. "
Esme and Carlisle walk outside. " Okay Kiddo's. "
I hop in the car next to Carter.
We pull up to a small house. The porch light is on. Carter unbuckles himself. " Thank you guys for tonight. Have a good evening. "
I watch as Carter enters his house.
The ride home was quiet and peaceful.
My eye's close, and the moonlight hits my face. My breathing deepens, and I'm soon asleep.
