Toby's POV:

"Hey Spence come in here!"

"What is it?"

"Look what my dad dropped off."

"A old box?"

"Yea?"

"What's in it?"

"I don't know."

"Well open it."

I slowly lifted the wooden lid and it clicked in the back of my mind.

"Toby? Did this stuff belong to your mom?" She asked lifting up a Mother's Day card that I had written when I was about ten years old.

I shook my head.

"Do you want to put it away?"

"No, my dad probably sent it over here for me to look through it to see what I wanted to keep and what to throw out."

"Toby you can't throw any of this stuff out!"

"It's not going to bring her back."

"Well I know that, but these are all precious memories from when you were little."

"I guess your right." I looked down and saw something sparkling in the bottom of the box.

I went to grab it before Spencer got to it but she got it before I did.

"What's this?"

"I think you know what that is."

"An engagement ring." She said sliding it on to her finger.

"Wow, it fits perfectly." She said smiling.

Just the look on her face when she slid the ring on was priceless.

"I thought that my dad gave that to Jenna's mom."

"I would hate my dad if he gave my mothers wedding ring to another woman."

"I guess that's why he didn't."

She looked at me a smiled and slid the ring back off her finger and placed in the palm of my hand.

"Have you ever thought about us getting married?" She asked.

"I've thought about it, why?"

"Just, asking."

"If I would marry someone it would only be you but not now, way in the future we haven't even graduated high school yet."

"Same here, I love how you give a touching speech and I say two words after you."

"It is kinda odd isn't it."

"Okay anyway, I hate to sound greedy or impatient but I gave you your anniversary gift, what's mine?"

"What time is it?"

"5:30 why?" She asked.

"Oh were late we need to go."

"Go where?" She asked as I pulled her hand out the door.

I covered her eyes with my hands.

"Well at least it's your hands and not the damn blind fold."

"Okay careful going down the stairs."

"You know it'd be a lot easier if you'd just carry me."

I rolled my eyes and scooped her up and carried her down the stairs.

All the sudden I heard the snap of a camera.

"Caleb not yet." Hanna whispered....

"Tobes did you hear something."
