The beginning

8 hours earlier

Spencer's POV:

All the sudden I heard knocking on the door.

"Toby?"

I looked down and had forgotten his house keys again.

I walked over and opened the door.

"Wren."

"Hello Spencah."

"Wren. Why are you here?"

"May I come in?" He asked in his adorable yet obnoxious tone.

"Why do you ask?" I questioned.

"I'd like to have a chat with you."

"Huh keep dreaming, sounds like you have your own issues."

"If you won't let me in at least let me drive you to school."

"I'd rather walk, besides Aria is picking me up."

"Then we can have coffee down stairs while you wait."

"No Wren! No!"

"I have to get dressed, finish a report that is way over due, eat breakfast and a bunch of other stuff. And I certainly do not need you getting in that mixture. So thank you and goodbye."

I was only 7:15 in the morning and I was already on edge.

I shut the door and he left thank god.

At the brew:

"Spence stop shaking your leg your making me nervous!" Hanna said resting her hand on my knee.

"Sorry it's just Wren this morning freaked me out, what did he want?"

"Who knows." Aria said taking a sip of her iced decaf mocha/ chocolate milk.

"Oh I think we all know what he wants." Hanna said her eyes about to bulge out of her head.

"Han." Aria said and kicked her foot.

"Well how are you going to tell Toby about your encounter?" Hanna asked.

"Very carefully, I have all day to plan it out. It's just the outcome I'm afraid of." I said still shaking my knee.

"Spence stop with the knee!" Hanna sternly said.

"Sorry I can't help it."

"Don't worry about it Spencer you and Toby will be fine just come right out and tell him the truth." Aria said.

"Yea, because do you remember what Ali said about secrets keeping us close?" Hanna asked.

I nodded.

"She was wrong they tear us apart."

"So when we get to school tell your delicious hunk of man candy the truth." Hanna said.

Surprisingly her words made real since.

"Okay..I will right when I have the chance."

At school:

I had gotten through every other class I just had to get to English.

I sat down in my seat with Toby on one side and Hanna on the other.

And of course I started freaking out so my leg started shaking again.

Then I felt a hand on my leg.

It wasn't Hanna it was Toby.

He knelt down beside me "are you okay?"

"yea." I said quietly.

"It's just you only shake your leg when your nervous."

"It just I have to turn this report in and I don't think it's my best work."

Hanna looked over at me hearing the whole conversation.

She knew I had lied and trust me I felt awful about it.

"I'm sure you'll do great." He kissed me on the top of the head and went back and sat down.

I went and turned my report in and sat back down.

"Okay everybody take your seats."

and English began............................

I couldn't sit still any more even though it had only been 35 minutes.

"Mrs.Montgomery?"

"Yes, Spencer?"

"May I go to the restroom?"

"Sure."

And I walked out of the room and motioned for Aria to follow me.
