The beginning

Toby's POV:

"So what were you and Hanna talking about." Spencer asked messing with the rim of my t-shirt.

"You." I said.

"What about me?"

"She wanted to know what we were doing for next week but I wasn't going to tell her. I would let you when we got back."

"What are we going to do?"

"It's a secret."

"Toby."

"Spencer."

"Fine, I guess I'll have too figure it out next week but you'll never guess what I got you."

"Hmmm...never."

"Nope..never..ever." She said shaking her head and smiling.

We started to kiss again until the door opened.

"Hey guys sorry to ruin the moment but Hackett is coming this way!" Caleb said opening the door slightly.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine."

Spencer giggled and looked down.

"Hey are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm fine."

I knew she was lying but I didn't know what she was lying about.

"Come on before we get busted again."

She grabbed ahold of my hand and we snuck out.

Spencer's POV:

I had no idea how to tell Toby the truth.

8 hours earlier:

"Hey I gotta run I have a make-up test in French that I can't miss or reschedule." Toby yelled from down the hall.

"Okay. Just promise me you'll make an A+."

"And why would I need to promise that?" He said walking into their bedroom.

"Guess?"

"Oh, because I have the best tutor in the business?"

"Oh, haha considering that is a benefactor, I might have something special planned for tonight....if you make an A+." I said while rearranging the pillows on the bed.

"Could there be an exception for an A?" Toby pleaded.

"We'll see. Now go make me proud."

"Okay, okay I'm going." He picked up his bag and gave me a quick kiss goodbye.

I looked down.

"What Spencer?"

"It just I won't see you all day and that was like a millisecond kiss."

"Okay how's this?"

He rest his hand on my back and pulled me close to his face. Then it turned into a short make out session.

"I hate to say it but I really need to go."

"I know je t'aime."

"Je t'aime too." He smiled then walked out the door.

I walked back into the closet to get ready for school.

All the sudden I heard knocking on the door.

"Toby?"

I looked down and saw that he had left his house keys again.

"Why are you always leaving your keys?"

I walked over and opened the door.

"Wren."

"Hello Spencah."
